We see this happening today, some rulers are tearing down the people and things of God, also trying to shut the doors to His houses of worship! We need to take a stand and serve Adonai and not be swayed by a pagan world!

“No one can be a slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.”
Matthew 6:24 CJB

Our lives need to be about serving Yeshua and not the flesh! We really need to choose!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow him; but if it’s Ba’al, follow him! The people answered not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We all should take a moment and check ourselves, to see if we are building up God or tearing Him down!

We can learn from others and do what is right, but we can take that lesson to an extreme also! His father Uzziah went into the temple in an arrogant, prideful and ungodly manner and left a leper! Jotham didn’t go in at all and look how the people acted! Our actions can influence those around us, in this case the people acted corruptly!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”

During the days of Jotham he had great prophets around him: Isaiah, Hosea and Micah, and they gave clear direction on how to walk with Adonai! But because in one area the neglect of setting time to go and worship God in His house, the people noticed and acted corruptly! We need to lead!

“With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with skillful hands.”
Psalm 78:72 CJB

Like king David, God has given us all the tools and instructions found throughout His Word to be leaders, guides and comforters! The question is are we using them?

Sadly, this happens to believers. God blesses their ministry and they become strong, then pride kicks in and they start doing things they weren’t meant to do! Pride can destroy!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”

Here is a good saying: “Stay humble or you will stumble!” Remember our strength is in Adonai!

“God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble”
Psalm 46:1 CJB

Life is full of challenges, but when we make God our refuge and strength the challenges will become easier!

Why would anyone worship anything, especially a god that couldn’t even save their enemy? The gods of this world can’t save you, they can only deceive you!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”

The world is full of deception, the enemy is a liar and deceiver looking for those who he can devour with his false and misleading gods! So be on guard and stand on the truth of Yeshua to guide and direct you!

“Yeshua said, I AM the Way-and the Truth and Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 CJB

If you don’t want to be deceived, then follow Yeshua and walk in His ways!
