God is everywhere

“If you make me Me an altar of stone, you are not to build it of cut stones; for if you use a tool on it, you profane it.”
Exodus 20:22 CJB

The point God is making here is don’t try to build an ornate building for Him! Why? God doesn’t need an ornate building! I wonder if we have been building buildings that God is not exactly pleased with?

“Heaven is My throne, says Adonai, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house could you build for me? What sort of place could you devise for My rest?”
Isaiah 66:1 CJB

Don’t misunderstand we should go to a place (building) for Bible study and worship with other believers! But do we over spend and make the building more important than God?

“But can God actually live on earth? Why, Heaven itself, even the Heavens, cannot contain You; so how much less this house I have built?”
1 Kings 8:27 CJB

Understand! We can’t contain God, so don’t try! We need to worship God everywhere and anywhere we go!
Have a blessed day!

Be alert

“He said to the people, Prepare for the third day; don’t approach a woman.”
Exodus 19:15 CJB

God really wants us to be ready for His soon return! Are we ready? Or are we complacent living in worldly unclean ways!

“You too, be ready! For the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting Him.”
Luke 12:40 CJB

This is one of the most important themes in scripture, being ready and being aware of the times we are living in! So we need to be constantly watching and praying!

“Stay alert! Be on guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”
Mark 13:33 CJB

Only Adonai nows the day and the hour, but we know the times and seasons, so we need to stay alert and be ready!
Have a blessed day being prepared!

God’s Word guides

“Moshe paid attention to his father-in-law’s counsel and did everything he said.“
Exodus 18:24 CJB

What does this mean? That we should listen more than we speak! Moses father—in—law wasn’t a believer that we know of for sure! But God still used him mightily to help Moses, so we are foolish when we don’t listen to people! Listen then use the Word of Godto filter what they say!

“Someone who is already wise will hear and learn still more; someone who already understands will gain the ability to counsel well;
he will understand proverbs, obscure expressions, the sayings and riddles of the wise.”
Proverbs 1:5-6 CJB

We should never think we know it all, it is God who gives us wisdom and understanding! So we should always seek God and His wisdom, so we can discern what people say!

“For Adonai gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6 CJB

How do we hear from the mouth of God? By being in His Word! So when believers and non—believers speak we have the Word of God to guide us to what is right!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

Trust Adonai

“Then`Amalek came and fought with Israel at Refidim.”
Exodus 17:8 CJB

They just went through the trial of having no water and now they are being attacked by Amalek. This is how life goes. We go from one trial and then to the next!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with me, you may have shalom (peace). In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

Even though we can have trial after trial in life, if we stay united with Yeshua, we will always have shalom!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

Understand the world around us is completely hostile, especially towards God and HIs people! What should we do? Trust in Adonai no matter what the situation might be!
Have a blessed day in trusting in Him!
