Walk in His ways

“These are the mitzvot which Adonai gave to Moshe for the people of Isra’el on Mount Sinai. “

Leviticus 27:34 CJB

As we finish the book of Leviticus, what we should see is that God gives us instructions not to be a burden, but instead to guide and direct us in His ways!

“For loving God means obeying his commands. Moreover, his commands are not burdensome,
because everything which has God as its Father overcomes the world. And this is what victoriously overcomes the world: our trust.”
1 John 5:3-4 CJB

When we follow the commands and directions of God, its not to be saved or get some kind of bonus points! We should follow them simply because we love Him!

“If you love me, you will keep my commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

When we love someone, we will listen to them and try to make them happy by doing what they say. So if we love Yeshua, we should be striving to do what He says and walk in His ways!
May your day be richly blessed walking with Adonai!

Proclaim the Good News

“I am Adonai your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, so that you would not be their slaves. I have broken the bars of your yoke, so that you can walk upright. “

Leviticus 26:13 CJB

This is what Adonai has done for us He brought us out of the world of sin (Egypt) and set us apart for Him!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

We always need to be reminded of this: God has chosen us out of the world to be His representatives to the world and shine His glorious light!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt his name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

As we’ve been reminded here that we have been saved from living in sin, let’s proclaim the greatness of Adonai as He has ordained us to do!
May your day be richly blessed!

We belong to Him

“For to Me the people of Israel are slaves; they are My slaves whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; I am Adonai your God.”
Leviticus 25:55 CJB

We were once slaves to sin and the world, then Adonai brought us out of being slaves to sin! Now we belong to Him and we are His servants!

“Oh, Adonai! I am Your slave; I am Your slave, the son of your slave-girl; You have removed my fetters.”
Psalm 116:16 CJB

With all we may’ve going on in life, remember God has broken the fetters of sin!

“God redeemed me from going into the pit, and now my life sees light.”
Job 33:28 CJB

So don’t be distracted by the fetters of the world, but instead rejoice in the fact that you have been saved!
Have a blessed day walking in His light!

Shine

“He is always to keep in order the lamps on the pure menorah before Adonai.”
Leviticus 24:4 CJB

Just like the menorah was to be kept lit, so should we keep the light of Adonai shining in our lives!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

We should make it our goal to shine for Yeshua in everything we say and do!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

No matter what is going on around us we need to shine for Adonai and proclaim His Holy name!
Have a blessed day reflecting the light of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
