You never get to where your going until you go!

“Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.” Exodus 3:9

The LORD hears and sees all the things that are going on in us and around us! He sees and hear’s everything and has all situations under control.

“For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps.” Job 34:21

Often times like Moses who forty years earlier, tried to deal with the oppression of Israel and ended up in a desert where God could deal with Him! This is what often happens to us, we blow it and then end up in a desert asking when will You get us out?

“Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer.” Psalm 61:1

Let us rejoice in the fact that the LORD hears our prayers and is attending to them! Our problem is we just get stuck in a rut never moving or doing! You will never get to where the LORD wants you to go, until you go!

“Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

Today you maybe feeling oppressed, depressed or even stressed! Know this the LORD knows so call upon Him and take a step and walk in His ways! Have a blessed day!

God knows!

“And she bore him a son. He called his name Gershom, for he said I have been a stranger in a foreign land.” Exodus 2:22

When we look around us we see a lot of things that should make us uncomfortable! WHY? Because we really are strangers in a foreign land!

“So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.”

Exodus 2:24

The LORD doesn’t forget or ignore us, He just always has a bigger plan than we can see! Things are going just the way God has always planned it, often times it is us who need to get on the same page as Him! When we start to see the world around us get more and more weird, we should desire to have more and more of the LORD!

“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy 7:6

Realize today that you and I are that special, holy (set apart) people to the LORD! He hears our groaning and knows we are strangers in a foreign land! So hang on and set your eyes upon Him knowing He has it all worked out! Have a blessed day!

“And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.” Exodus 1:21

This is a choice we have to make also, do we obey the world or God? Are we obedient to the LORD or do we fall in line with the world?

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

There is nothing new today, we also have to make this choice who do we serve. We are either for the world or for the LORD! We can’t have it both ways, we can’t pick and choose what we like and don’t like! We are either all on board for the LORD or not!

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Today being the last day of the year and New Year resolutions are being made! Let us choose to follow the LORD, He will never let you down! Like these Egyptian woman in Exodus, the word tells us God provided a household for them!

Jesus said; “Let not your heart be troubled, In His Fathers house are many mansions, He goes to prepare one for you. So you and I can dwell with Him forever!” John 14:1-4

Have a blessed day and even a happier New Year serving the LORD, knowing He does have a place for you! Shanah Tovah Umetukah (A good and sweet Year)

The LORD has need!

“And if anyone says to you, you shall say, The LORD has need of them, and immediately he will send them.” Matthew 21:3

Often times the LORD calls us to do something or calls us to go somewhere and we get asked why? The simple answer is the LORD has need!

“O earth, earth, Hear the word of the LORD!” Jeremiah 22:29

The LORD gives us all great instructions through His word on what to say and do. We need to be digging in and searching His word for His instructions for us, then doing them!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD!” Jeremiah 17:7

Today let us be in His word, seeking His instructions for our lives! Why? Because the LORD has need, He loves you and desires to send you out for His purposes! Have a blessed day!

He willingly paid!

“And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Matthew 20:27-28

We need to really be like the LORD serving others, not looking to be served! When we look at Jesus in front of Caiaphas, Pilate and at the cross, He didn’t defend Himself! WHY? Because He died for us and our sins, which have no defense! He just took the punishment and paid the price!

“As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me.” Psalm 55:16

The LORD has always made it real simple for us sinners, call upon His name and we will be saved! It seems the longer we walk with the LORD, the less we call upon Him to save us and the more we call on Him to thank and glorify Him on how good He is!

“Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1

His deeds; He is a perfect King, who took your imperfect life and paid for it! Today let us get into His word, walk in His ways and make known His deeds! Today let us be servants of the LORD! Shabbat Shalom!
