He is alive!

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the LORD lay.”

Matthew 28:6

This is central theme about Jesus, He is not dead He is alive! What should be dead is our old life styles of hate, worry and judging! What we need to be doing is sharing how amazing our loving and forgiving Savior is!

“So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.”

Matthew 28:8

After the angel told them to go to Galilee and tell His disciples He is risen, they ran! Notice they didn’t walk, but ran from the tomb to tell the good news! The same goes for us, we are saved, but are we still hanging around our old tombs? The places of death and sin, the place where Jesus saved us from. Again, run from that place and share the good news of salvation!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20

Realize, as we go out and share the good news of salvation, not everyone will receive it. Don’t get hung up or discouraged, just run to the next person. Don’t allow road blocks to put you back in the tomb of doubt and misery, the dead place! Remember, Jesus is alive, so should we be! Have a blessed day serving our LORD who is alive!

Don’t speak!

“But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.”

Matthew 27:14

Sometimes it’s better if we say nothing, we really don’t need to give an answer for everything! Often times it would be better if we just bite our tongue so to speak!

“But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

James 3:8-10

Being silent often times can be a good thing, we don’t ever have to take back what we don’t say! How often do we either have to walk back, take back or apologize for something we said or posted?

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

Today, remember we represent the LORD, so let us take the time to pray before we speak or comment on things! Let us be still, be silent and pray! Have a blessed day watching, listening and praying!

Shabbat Shalom!

Share the peace of the LORD

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6

As we look around the world today, we all have to admit that there is very little resemblance of peace! Unrest is everywhere. Look at Venezuela, with no food on shelves; France were middle class can’r afford gas; caravans coming through Central America and the division in the United States. These are just a few of the things happening world wide! Realize, if we are looking at unrest, it will leave us distressed and depressed! We really need to look to the LORD and reflect His light.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 14:27

The world around us is really unrestful and unstable, and it is getting worse, as Jesus said it would (Read Matthew 24)! What should we do? Don’t panic and don’t stress. Yes, we see messes around us and we may even be in one. Look at it as an opportunity to reflect the glorious light of the LORD!

“Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

Remember, we have the hope of heaven and the world around us is filled with no hope! We have the light of Jesus and the promise that one day His government will be perfect, He is the Prince of Peace! So may His Shalom (Peace) be upon you today, have a blessed day reflecting His Peace!
