The LORD makes things sweet

“Then the priest shall take from the grain offering a memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, It is an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the LORD.”

Leviticus 2:9

Often times in life we can feel crushed, beat up and burnt up, realize that the LORD can and will turn it into a sweet aroma to Him!

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.”

Psalm 30:11

In any situation we may be going through, the LORD is right there with us, guiding us through! All we have to do is look for Him!

“Then the virgin will dance for joy, young men and old men together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, comfort and gladden them after their sorrow.”

Jeremiah 31:12(13) CJB

Don’t look at the situation you are going through, but look to the LORD instead! He will always turn your situation into a sweet aroma! The LORD is calling out to us, so look to Him for everything! Have a blessed day in His sweetness!

Give to the LORD

“If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the LORD.”

Leviticus 1:3

What do we offer to the LORD, does it mean anything to us? Here we see that you had to sacrifice a clean animal, a strong animal and it had to be from your own herd! It had to be worth something to you! Just like God giving His own son!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

Ultimately, God gave Himself! The same goes for us do we give of ourselves?

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Romans 12:1

Today, give to the LORD freely give what is important to you, give what has value and most importantly give of yourself! Remember, you can’t out give God! Have a blessed day offering yourself to the LORD!

God’s way is always best

“The Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has made you well. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.”

Mark 10:52

When we realize that the LORD has saved us, it should lead us to desire to follow Him! Realize, we are saved by His grace and mercy meaning we don’t get what we deserve eternal damnation! As lovers of Jesus we need to follow after Him!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

Grace gives us great responsibility, which is really pretty simple. We get to walk in His ways, not ours!

“Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.”

Deuteronomy 8:6

Today, let’s share the LORD’S love, walk in His ways and fear spending one second without Him! Have a blessed day following hard after the LORD!

Follow the LORD

“Yeshua, looking at him, felt love for him and said to him, You’re missing one thing. Go, sell whatever you own, give to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come, follow Me!”

Mark 10:21 CJB

Don’t make excuses on why you can’t follow the LORD, whether it’s money lack of or too much, time or how much you know or don’t know! Following the LORD is being available and ready to share His love! Remember, it’s not always about what we see, it’s who we serve!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJB

Following the LORD is always an adventure when you step out and do it! The problem with many is they don’t step out and share! It’s easy to share your faith at church or at a Bible study, but sadly that’s it for many!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s follow Jesus wherever He leads us! Get out there and do and say good things, sharing the love of the LORD!

Have a blessed day following the LORD.

Shabbat Shalom.
