Watch what we say.

“Tell the people of Israel, When any man has a discharge from his body, the discharge is unclean.”

Leviticus 15:2 CJB

The discharges spoken of here are fluids, but let’s look at some of the discharges that come out of our mouths! We can and do say things that we ought not to or type things we shouldn’t! In this day and age of social media people often say things that they would never say. We have a discharge problem.

“Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Matthew 15:11 NKJB

Today, let’s not check what others say and write, but what we say and write. Let’s, check ourselves!

“I said, I will guard my ways, Lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle, While the wicked are before me.”

Psalm 39:1 NKJB

Every day we have evil wicked things that come before us, but remember, we don’t have to get involved in it, saying or writing anything! Today let’s check ourselves. Have a blessed day guarding our ways and what we say. Let’s speak about the LORD!

We are free not to sin!

“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give you as a possession, and I put the leprous plague in a house in the land of your possession,”

Leviticus 14:34

In other words, the LORD has given us salvation and when we are saved, why would we return to the leprous life of sin? Remember, the leprous plague is really the result of sin.

“But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.”

Romans 6:22

Don’t get caught up in the worldly lifestyle of sin. Everyday we are bombarded with the negativity and sinful junk of the world. We don’t have to partake of it! Remember, the LORD has set us free!

“Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.”

Psalm 89:15

Today, realize we have been given a new life, so possess it. We don’t have to walk in the darkness of the world, but we get to walk in the light of the LORD! Have a blessed day possessing the freedom the LORD gives us to walk in His ways!

Walk in the Light

“This shall be the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest.”

Leviticus 14:2

We all have the disease of sin, in one way or the other! The sins that we can and do commit are way to numerous to list, but we are all guilty and need the LORD!

“As for me, I will call upon God. And the LORD shall save me.”

Psalm 55:16

The only way out of darkness is to walk in the light of the LORD!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1

Today don’t be caught up in the leprous darkness of the world, but instead let us walk in the glorious light of the LORD!

Have a blessed day and week!

The LORD saves!

“Save Yourself and come down from the stake!”

Mark 15:30 CJB

People still mock God today saying things like: Save, defend or justify Yourself! What the we need to understand is God doesn’t need to do any of this. Why? Because He is God creator of the universe, but on the other hand it is we who need saving, defending and justifying!

“Adonai is my Rock, my fortress and deliver, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield, the power that saves me, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:3 CJB

There is a lot we can unpack here, but the one thing we really need to see is how much we need the LORD! Our bank account, pastor, spouse or government can’t save us or even really protect us! Only God can, so ask yourself where do you really put your trust and hope?

“Adonai, there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you-everything we have heard confirms that.”

1 Chronicles 17:20 CJB

Don’t get so caught up in life, your problems and situations, but instead get caught up in the LORD and His solutions! Remember, He came to save us, spend time in His word which confirms His love for us! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has it all covered!
