Do life the LORD’S way

“If you sell anything to your neighbor or buy anything from him, neither of you is to exploit the other.”

Leviticus 25:14 CJB

Doing life the LORD’S way is so much easier and His way isn’t that difficult to follow! Just like what is being said here, don’t rip off your neighbor! How hard is that?

“I seek you with all my heart; don’t let me stray from your mitzvot (Commandments).

Psalm 119:10 CJB

When we follow and do the word of God, we will always do better, we get into trouble when we do our own thing and ignore His instructions!

“Guide my footsteps by your word; don’t let any kind of sin rule me.”

Psalm 119:133

Today, let’s be upright and do things the way the LORD tells us through His word! Have a blessed day doing life the LORD’S way.

Give it a Rest

“Tell the people of Israel, When you enter the land I am giving you, the land itself is to observe a Shabbat rest for Adonai.”

Leviticus 25:2

The LORD really wants us to be mindful of giving everything a rest. Why? So we can spend time with Him! We may take a weekly Shabbat, but we still try to work on our cars, our houses or our properties. It all becomes work! God says, give it a REST!

“Be still before Adonai; wait patiently till He comes. Don’t be upset by those whose way succeeds because of their wicked plans.”

Psalm 37:7

Today, Give it all a REST, take a break and just rest in the LORD. Have a blessed day resting in the LORD and just being with those you love!

Listen to the LORD

“Nevertheless, to you who are listening, what I say is this: Love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”

Luke 6:27-28 CJB

Great advice here from Jesus. Listen, Love, Do Good and Pray then repeat! What a great way to start our day by getting into His word, listen to what it says and do it!

“Guide my footsteps by Your word; don’t let any kind of sin rule me.”

Psalm 119:133 CJB

When we listen to His word, then we get to do what it says and then we start finding ourselves loving people and praying for them! Little hard to sin when we are listening and doing what God says!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, Listen, Love, Do Good and Pray when you’re done with that repeat. Realize, doing what Jesus says here is the best witness we can be of His love! Have an amazing day blessing as many people as you can!

Forgiven

“It was Yeshua who answered them: The ones who need a doctor aren’t the healthy but the sick.”

Luke 5:31 CJB

We all have some need for the great physician Jesus, we all need healing from the LORD!

“I have not come to call the righteous, but rather to call sinners to turn to God from their sins.”

Luke 5:32 CJB

This is good news, because as we look into the mirror we know who we are sinners in desperate need of a Savior and Jesus is more than willing and able to forgive!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”

Psalm 103:12 CJB

Today, let’s confess what needs to be confessed and watch the LORD clean and forgive! Have a blessed day knowing Jesus makes all things new and we don’t have to be consumed with the sickness of sin, instead be consumed with Jesus and His righteousness!

Shabbat Shalom!

Be holy not common

“They are to teach my people the difference between holy and common and enable them to distinguish between clean and unclean.”

Ezekiel 44:23 CJB

As believers, we may be all that the people around us see that reflect God, so show the the people the difference between holy and common! We get to walk with the LORD!

“Speak to the entire community of Israel; tell them, You people are to be holy because I, Adonai your God, am holy.”

Leviticus 19:2 CJB

The LORD wants us to be set apart, holy, special, not ordinary, like the rest of the world! We need to be examples and shine for the LORD!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

1 Peter 2:9

Today. let’s shine for the LORD and let people around us see the right way to walk: holy, not ordinary, reflecting His love and grace! Have a blessed day shining for the LORD!
