Pray

“Moshe and Aharon did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but Adonai had made Pharaoh hard-hearted, and he didn’t let the people of Israel leave his land.”

Exodus 11:10 CJB

No matter how many amazing things the LORD has done, and is doing, there will always be people who are just hard-hearted!

What are we to do?

“And if the people of some place will not welcome you, and they refuse to hear you, as you leave, shake the dust off your feet as a warning to them.”

Mark 6:11 CJB

The LORD isn’t saying give up on them, but don’t get into endless debates or arguments! Instead pray and walk away!

“Pray regularly.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

Remember, some people just have a hard heart! The LORD doesn’t want us to get bogged down with endless arguments and debates, but we can pray and we should pray!

Have a blessed day talking to the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom!

Obey the LORD

“Sh’mu’el said, Does Adonai take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying what Adonai says? Surely obeying is better than sacrifice, and heeding orders than the fat of rams.”

1 Samuel 15:22 CJB

The LORD really wants us to just simply do what He says and not do what we want! His ways are always going to be better!

“If you love me, you will keep My commands.”

John 14:15 CJB

Life is always going to be better when we just do life the LORD’S way, not ours! God isn’t impressed by our good deeds, our offerings or our attendance at church, He desires us to simply just obey His commands!

“You are My friends, if you do what I command you.”

John 15:14 CJB

Today, let’s just follow hard after the LORD, doing life His way because life is always a blessing when we walk in His ways!

Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

Step out

“Y’honatan (Jonathan) said to his armor-bearer, Come on, let’s go across to the garrison of these uncircumcised people. Maybe Adonai will do something for us, since Adonai can rescue with a few people as easily as with many.”

1 Samuel 14:6 CJB

Often times we need to just step out and see what the LORD will do. We just need to take the step of faith! No matter how impossible it may seem, remember the LORD can do all things!

“Then he answered me, This is the word of Adonai to Z’rubavel: Not by force, and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Adonai-Tzava’ot.”

Zechariah 4:6 CJB

Realize when we take a chance or step out in faith, it’s the LORD who will lead the way. Don’t worry about failing, just keep stepping out!

“Yeshua looked at them and said, Humanly, this is impossible; but with God everything is possible.”

Matthew 19:26 CJB

Today, take a chance and step out for the LORD. You may be surprised on what happens! Don’t worry about failing. Realize it does happen! So don’t be discouraged but, be encouraged in the LORD!

Have a blessed day!

Wait on the LORD

“He waited seven days, as Sh’mu’el had instructed; but Sh’mu’el didn’t come to Gilgal; so the army began to drift away from him. Sha’ul said, Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings, and he offered the burnt offering.”

1 Samuel 13:8-9 CJB

When we get ahead of the LORD and start to do things our way, disaster is usually the result.

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”

Psalm 27:14 CJB

Don’t put your hope in what you can do or how you can do things, instead look to the LORD and wait!

“But those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings; when they won’t grow weary, when they are walking they won’t get tired.”

Isaiah 40:31 CJB

Today, don’t be impatient, but instead just call upon the LORD and wait! May His peace fill your day as you wait upon Him.

Have a blessed day in Him!

Trust the LORD

“Only fear Adonai, and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; for think what great things He has done for you!”

1 Samuel 12:24 CJB

We all need to fear the LORD! We should be in fear of walking through the day without Him! Also remember all the great things He has done for us, which should lead us to serve Him with joy!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”

Psalm 100:2 CJB

When we realize the great things the LORD has done for us, it should lead us to praising Him!

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we praise the name of Adonai our God.”

Psalm 20:7 CJB

Today, let’s fear taking one step without the LORD and serve Him faithfully!

Have a blessed day!
