Repent

“Then, if my people, who bear My name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 CJB

We bear the name of the LORD! He made us, redeemed us and saved us from our evil ways, so we don’t have to be bogged down in them!

“Yet He saved them for His own name’s sake, to make known His mighty power.”
Psalm 106:8 CJB

The reality is we blow it in some way every day! It could be what we think, say or do, but we do blow it! The good news is if we just humbly go before the LORD and repent, He heals and forgives!

“For Adonai takes delight in His people, He crowns the humble with salvation.”
Psalm 149:4 CJB

Today, let’s be humble and repent, knowing that the LORD has us covered!
Have a amazing day in Him!

He hears

“Even so, Adonai my God, pay attention to your servant’s prayer and plea, listen to the cry and prayer that your servant is praying before You, that Your eyes will be open toward this house day and night-to listen to the prayer your servant will pray toward this place.”
2 Chronicles 6:19-20 CJB

So thankful that the LORD really does pay attention to us, hearing our prayers and seeing our situations!

“Hear the sounds of my prayers when I cry to You, when I lift my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.”
Psalm 28:2 CJB

We really need to look to the LORD for all things and not look to the world! Realize, the world has nothing for us!

“Adonai is high above all nations,His glory above the heavens.”
Psalm 113:4 CJB

Today, know that the LORD hears you and is gonna take care of you!
Have a blessed day looking to the LORD!

Be consumed by the LORD

“Then, when the trumpeters and singers were playing in concord, to be heard harmoniously praising and thanking Adonai, and they lifted their voices together with the trumpets, cymbals and other musical instruments to praise Adonai: for He is good, for His grace continues forever-then, the house, the house of Adonai, was filled with a cloud; So that because of the cloud, the cohanim could not stand up to perform their service; for the glory of Adonai filled the house of God.”
2 Chronicles 5:13-14 CJB

The worship of the LORD here was so intense that the priests were so overwhelmed with the Holy Spirit that they couldn’t do anything else!

“Worship Adonai in holy splendor; tremble before Him, all the earth!”
Psalm 96:9 CJB

As we see all the insanity going on in the world around us, the best thing we can do is praise and worship the LORD!

“I will sing to Adonai as long as I live, sing praise to my God all my life.”
Psalm 104:33 CJB

Today, let’s get caught up in worship and not get caught up in the silliness of the world!
May your day be blessed!

Inspect your foundation

“These are the foundations Solomon laid for building the house of God: the length in old-standard cubits was sixty cubits [105 feet] and the width twenty cubits [thirty-five feet].”
2 Chronicles 3:3 CJB

Here we see the the foundation of the temple being laid out. With that said, let’s look at our foundation in the LORD, is it a solid foundation or does it need some repairs?

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
Psalm 11:3 CJB

The answer is if the foundation is, weak, so will we be! How do we repair and fortify our selves and keep ourselves solid?

“The name of Adonai is a strong tower; a righteous person runs to it and is raised high [above danger].”
Proverbs 18:10 CJB

The answer is always gonna be the LORD and being in His word!
Have a blessed day!

Build good

“The house I will build will be great, because our God is greater than all gods.”
2 Chronicles 2:4 CJB

We should all be building the house of the LORD greater than anything else in our lives!

“Adonai did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.”
Psalm 126:3 CJB

As the LORD is doing great things in us, let’s make our lives about building up His kingdom!

“They will sing about Adonai’s ways, Great is the glory of Adonai.”
Psalm 138:5 CJB

One of the ways we can help build the house of the LORD is by singing His praises and sharing His Good News!
Have a blessed day!
