Something to remember: the world gives nothing for “free”! Anytime we hear free be careful, whether it’s stimulus, food and health care remember, someone has to pay or someone becomes a slave to the giver! The only thing that is free is Salvation of the LORD!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom (peace)-I am giving you My shalom (peace). I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

The world always wants or demands payback, but the LORD wants nothing in return but us! Why? Simple, because He loves us! Don’t let the news of the day frighten you, but let it encourage you in the LORD!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Our LORD has a beautiful future planned for us filled with His love! The world, on the other-hand, has nothing but destruction!

Here are the facts. The Assyrians were extremely wicked, as were the people in Nineveh. The evil they did was horrifying and God deals with them and the people are glad! With that said, we see evil surrounding us today and know the LORD will deal with it also!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”

Do what? What the LORD calls us to do, repent of our sinful ways, go out and serve Him and share His Good News of Salvation!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB

With that said, why wouldn’t we want to repent and serve the LORD? Knowing His plans and ways will never lead us to destruction. His ways lead to life everlasting! The world’s ways lead to death and destruction!

Even when we see people doing evil things and seemingly getting away with it, understand they’re not. God will deal with it!

So keep hope and build your strength in the LORD, He has it all covered!

“Be strong, and fill your hearts with courage, all of you who hope in Adonai.”
Psalm 31:24 CJB

Today, strengthen your heart in the LORD and take courage that He will take care of all things!

We all can see the evil going on in the world around us and so can the LORD! Remember, the LORD made all and knows all!

“The heart is more deceitful than anything else and mortally sick. Who can fathom it?”

So as we see wickedness all around us, what we should do is reflect the light of the LORD! We have to go to work, school and out into public, but what we get to do is spread the light of the LORD everywhere we go, even on social media!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Today, we know it’s dark out there. What we need to do is be a light and know that the LORD will deal with all the problems! Talk about Jesus today!

What a picture of the world today, the evil and wicked on social media, on the news and basically everywhere we look! The sad thing is they all lie and wait to pounce on anything that represents God! What are we to do run and hide? NO!

“Whoever acknowledges Me in the presence of others I will also acknowledge in the presence of My Father in heaven.”

It’s always easier to run and hide or remove ourselves from situations that rub us the wrong way or make us uncomfortable. But, that’s not what the LORD called us to do, He called us to preach the Good News of Salvation! Unfortunately, that happens in places where we get made fun of, ridiculed and harassed!

“Those who act wickedly against the covenant he will corrupt with his blandishments, but the people who know their God will stand firm and prevail.”

Today, let’s stand firm against evil, let’s proclaim the Good News in this dark world and let’s not hide or stand down when things get tough!
