Just shake it off

“But he shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no harm.”
Acts 28:5 CJB

We often need to do the same, just shake things off and not let it bother us or drag us down!

“He delivers me from my enemies. You lift me high above my enemies, You rescue me from violent men.”
Psalm 18:49 CJB

Even when we get bit by the poisons of the world, we need to shake it off and move on, knowing it really doesn’t harm us!

“Give thanks to Adonai; for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 CJB

Today, let’s not get caught up in the world and its negative poison! Instead let’s get caught up in the LORD and His glorious salvation!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Life has storms

“He said, don’t be afraid, Sha`ul! You have to stand before the Emperor. Look! God has granted you all those who are sailing with you. So, men, take heart! For I trust God and believe that what I have been told will come true.”
Acts 27:24-25 CJB

God, will always get us to where He wants us to be, through all the storms of life, even the ones caused by our own rebellion!

“Show me favor, God, show me favor; for in you I have taken refuge. Yes, I will find refuge in the shadow of your wings until the storms have passed.”
Psalm 57:1 CJB

Life is full of obstacles and distractions! Any time we try to navigate them on our own we will always get into trouble! What we need to do is look to the LORD in everything!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, realize, life can be stormy, but the LORD will guide us by the light of His word, we just need to be in it!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Walk in truth

“But just as he reached this point in his defense, Festus shouted at the top of his voice, Sha`ul (Paul), you’re out of your mind! So much learning is driving you crazy!”
Acts 26:24 CJB

This is the reaction the world gives to us about Yeshua and His salvation, they simply think we are crazy for studying and learning about Him!

“But Sha`ul said, No, I am not ‘crazy,’ Festus, your Excellency; on the contrary, I am speaking words of truth and sanity.”
Acts 26:25 CJB

Like Paul, when we talk about Yeshua, we are talking about truth and we are completely sane! It’s the world around us that is out of control and walking in insanity!

“For your grace is there before my eyes, and I live my life by your truth.”
Psalm 26:3 CJB

Today, don’t worry about the world and its anger towards the LORD, but instead let’s simply just live in and share His truth!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Keep sharing

“It seems irrational to me to send a prisoner without also indicating what the charges against him are.”
Acts 25:27 CJB

The same happens today. Believers are persecuted for sharing about Yeshua, with no real charges against them. Not to worry, the LORD will deal with them, so just keep preaching!

“Adonai your God will put all these curses on your enemies, on those who hated and persecuted you.”
Deuteronomy 30:7 CJB

Even though we may feel persecuted for sharing the truth about the LORD and His salvation, we shouldn’t let that discourage us from sharing!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let us share the Good News of the LORD with everyone we come in contact with no matter what!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Walk in His ways

“You are to keep My mitzvot (commands) and obey them; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 22:31 CJB

One of the hardest things, in my opinion, is for believers in Yeshua to realize that the commands of God are for us, to guide us in His ways! When we walk in His ways life always is much easier!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands (mitzvot); and I will ask the Father, and He will give you another comforting Counselor like Me, the Spirit of Truth, to be with you forever.”
John 14:15-16 CJB

Following the LORD shouldn’t be hard when we love Him. He also gave us His Holy Spirit to guide us and direct us!

“For loving God means obeying His commands (mitzvot). Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Today, really seek the LORD, to see what He will say to you through His word!
Have a blessed day walking in His ways!
Shabbat Shalom!
