Do life God’s way

“Noach (Noah) did all that Adonai ordered him to do.”
Genesis 7:5 CJB

When we just simply do what the LORD instructs us to do through His word; blessings, protection and comfort happen!

“Then I will not be put to shame, since I will have fixed my sight on all Your mitzvit (commands).”
Psalm 119:6 CJB

We will never be put to shame when we are doing life God’s way! We will always find His ways so much better and easier than ours! It’s when we do our own thing that leads us to disaster!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Today, we are always going to be in better shape when we do life God’s way and not ours!
Have a blessed day doing life God’s way!

God has it covered

“The earth was corrupt before God, the earth was filled with violence.”
Genesis 6:11 CJB

We don’t see any difference today, maybe even worse! We have corrupt politicians, businessmen and news media and the violence is even getting worse! Don’t think for a moment that God is unaware or isn’t going to deal with it, because His judgment is coming!

“”Then I myself will bring a flood of water over the earth to destroy from under heaven every living thing that breathes; everything on earth will be destroyed.”
Genesis 6:17 CJB

God promised He wouldn’t flood the earth out again, but there are hundreds of different ways for Him to pass judgment and He will! So let’s watch, pray and spread the Good News of Salvation!

“The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from His sins.”
2 Peter 3:9 CJB

Today, as we look at the world around us spiraling out of control, know God is going to deal with it! Also take a good look in the mirror and see if there is anything yourself that needs to be dealt with! Remember, that we serve a gracious God, who forgives as soon as we repent!
Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has it all covered!

Unity

“Hanokh (Enoch)walked with God, and then he wasn’t there, because God took him.”
Genesis 5:24 CJB

One day we will be taken home by God, but why did God just take Hanokh (Enoch)? The reason is he walked with God, meaning he was in unity with the LORD! We can’t say we walk with God and disagree with His word or question His ways, because that would lack unity! We have to be in agreement with the LORD to have unity and it needs to be His way, not ours!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so I won’t sin against you. Blessed are You, Adonai! Teach me your laws.”
Psalm 119:11-12 CJB

The word of God teaches how to walk in the ways of the LORD, it doesn’t tell us to get in His way! Unfortunately, that’s what we do when we think we can do our own thing!

“If we claim to have fellowship with Him while we are walking in the darkness, we are lying and not living out the truth. But if we are walking in the light, as He is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of His Son Yeshua purifies us from sin.”
1 John 1:6-7 CJB

Today, let us be looking to the LORD and seeking His ways in which to walk!
Have a blessed day walking in unity with the LORD!

Repent

“Kayin (Cain) had words with Hevel (Abel) his brother; then one time, when they were in the field, Kayin turned on Hevel his brother and killed him.”
Genesis 4:8 CJB

Kayin obviously had no love for His brother or a fear of God. When we read into this scripture, it seems Kayin was letting his anger get the best of him and after some time killed his brother.

“Adonai said to Kayin, Where is Hevel your brother? And he replied, I don’t know; am I my brother’s guardian?”
Genesis 4:9 CJB

Kayin not only murders his brother, but also tries to deny he knew anything about it! Understand, we can’t hide anything from the LORD, He knows all!
We always need to be open and honest with the LORD and do things His way!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Today, don’t try to hide things from the LORD, because you can’t! Just be open and honest with Him and repent and watch what He will do!
Have a blessed day in Him!

We all die!

“Sarah lived to be 127 years old; these were the years of Sarah’s life. Sarah died in Kiryat-Arba, also known as Hevron, in the land of Kena`an; and Avraham came to mourn Sarah and weep for her.”
Genesis 23:1-2 CJB

Intresting that Sarah is only woman in Bible who’s age is mentioned at death (a topic for a future post). The reality here is death is real and that is something believers and unbelievers have in common! Ten out of ten people will die! The question for all of is; are we building shrines and legacies or are we leading people to the LORD! Are we serving self or are we serving the LORD?

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

The problem we see today is there is more concern for what we have than what the LORD has given! We see this attitude of let’s build our empire here and now! It’s becoming harder to tell the difference between believers and unbelievers, because they both have the same attitude!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, may are life be more about glorifying the LORD and leading people to Him and remember it’s not about how much stuff you have! Remember, we all have an appointment with death, so let’s make it count for the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!
