Hope in the LORD

“Adonai said, Look, the people are united, they all have a single language, and see what they’re starting to do! At this rate, nothing they set out to accomplish will be impossible for them!”
Genesis 11:6 CJB

Even though many of the world’s governments want a one world order, understand it’s just not happening yet! Why? Because, Adonai won’t allow it, it’s not part of His plan yet! But know it’s coming!

“Come, let’s go down and confuse their language, so they won’t understand each other’s speech.”
Genesis 11:7 CJB

We see this all around us today. Religion is divided, politics is divided, nations are divided and the world is confused! God is the only thing that makes sense!

“Let all the earth fear Adonai! Let all living in the world stand in awe of Him.”
Psalm 33:8 CJB

Today, our only hope is the LORD. There is nothing but the LORD that can give us hope! Not governments, jobs or religions. The only hope we have is in Yeshua!
Have a blessed day putting all your hope in Him!

Be on guard

“He was a mighty hunter before Adonai-this is why people say, Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before Adonai.”
Genesis 10:9 CJB

The idea here isn’t a hunter for food, but a hunter of souls! This is what our Adversary does on a daily basis, he’s looking for souls to steal and lives to ruin!

“Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8 CJB

As much as the enemy is out there trying to destroy life, our LORD is out there giving life to all who call upon Him!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Today, let’s spend more time calling on the LORD and less time worrying about what our Adversary is trying to do! If our focus is on the LORD, then the enemy has no room!
Have a blessed day in the LORD!

God is the same in every generation

“I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, I will give all these lands to your descendants, and by your descendants all the nations of the earth will bless themselves. All this is because Avraham heeded what I said and did what I told him to do-he followed My mitzvot (commands), My regulations and My teachings.”
Genesis 26:4-5 CJB

Here we see even though Avraham (Abraham) wasn’t perfect, he still followed and listened to the LORD and his descendants were blessed and multiplied!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot, listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB also 13:4NKJV

We need to be walking as close as we can with the LORD! Anytime we drift away is when we fall! The good news is He always has His hand upon us!

“May Adonai our God be with us, as He was with our ancestors. May He never leave us or abandon us.”
1 Kings 8:57 CJB

Today, no matter what, let’s cling to the LORD and walk through life following Him and doing things His way! Also remember that He never leaves us and always has His hand upon us!
May your day be richly blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Confess and repent

“Ham, the father of Kena`an (Canaan), saw his father shamefully exposed, went out and told his two brothers.”
Genesis 9:22 CJB

This verse is usually misquoted to mean don’t expose Gods annointed, but this isn’t what’s happening here! Noah sinned and got drunk, but Ham was excited and way to eager to tell on his father! The wording here is Ham took joy in seeing his father blow it, something we see people today doing all the time! Taking joy in other people’s mistakes!

“He who conceals his sins will not succeed; he who confesses and abandons them will gain mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13 CJB

Often times when a person is happy to see another person fall, it is usually concealing their own failures or sins! We, as believers, need to confess and repent of our sins, then pray for those who are in sin! God will deal with them!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Today, know we can’t get away with anything. God sees all and knows all, but realize no one else is getting away with anything either! So let’s be glad, knowing when we confess and repent, God forgives!
Have a blessed day knowing that fact!
Shabbat Shalom!

God’s timing is perfect

“God remembered Noach, every living thing and all the livestock with him in the ark; so God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and water began to go down.”
Genesis 8:1 CJB

Just like Noach (Noah), God doesn’t forget us, even if you think He does, we are always on His mind and help is on the way!

“Adonai knows what the wholehearted suffer, but their inheritance lasts forever.”
Psalm 37:18 CJB

We may even think from time to time that God blesses some more than others or God deals more kindly to others than me! Understand that is the farthest thing from the truth! Why? Because God has no favorites!

“For Adonai your God is God of gods and LORD of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes.”
Deuteronomy 10:17 CJB

Today, you may feel forgotten, but remember God sees us all equally and doesn’t forget you or your needs! Just wait upon His perfect timing!
Have a blessed day waiting on the LORD!
