Worship Adonai

“When Avraham’s servant heard what they said, he prostrated himself on the ground to Adonai.”
Genesis 24:52 CJB

When the LORD comes through with a promise or a blessing, which He always does, do we rejoice, bowing down worship Him?

“Come, let’s bow down and worship; let’s kneel before Adonai who made us.”
Psalm 95:6 CJB

Honestly, we shouldn’t wait for blessings or promises. We should always be in a state of worshipping the LORD!

“For in Him our hearts rejoice, because we trust in His holy name.”
Psalm 33:21 CJB

Today, with all that is going on around us, good and bad, let’s always be about rejoicing in the LORD, because He always comes through!
May your day be blessed in Him!

Just passing through

“I am a foreigner living as an alien with you; let me have a burial site with you, so that I can bury my dead wife.”
Genesis 23:4 CJB

Something we all need to be reminded of: often we are just aliens in a strange world, just passing through! This is not our home, so don’t try to make it!

“For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:21 CJB

We all need to do a heart check from time to time! Ask yourself what is your priority, the world or the LORD?

“But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33 CJB

Today, remember we are just passing through, so keep your eyes upon the LORD and His Kingdom! And as we do, we’ll see His blessings come upon us!
Have a blessed day following the LORD!

Trials happen

“After these things, God tested Avraham. He said to him, Avraham! and he answered, Here I am.”
Genesis 22:1 CJB

As we go through the daily trials of life, we can get the feeling that God is mean or doesn’t care, but He allows us to be tested so we can grow and He can be glorified!

“For You, God have tested us, refined us as silver is refined.”
Psalm 66:10 CJB

We all have trials and difficulties, maybe it’s our jobs, our finances or health. No matter how difficult things may get, remember the LORD is using them to refine us so we can grow!

“Dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you.”
1 Peter 4:12 CJB

Today, life is full of difficulties, which unfortunality are just part of life! Often times it is us who make them worse. Instead of dwelling on them, look to the LORD, who will see us through! Remember, God allows trials so we can grow and glorify Him! Today, if you are going through a trial, pass the test and glorify the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t give up

“And Ya`akov (Jacob) was left alone. Then some Man wrestled with him until daybreak.”
Genesis 32:25 CJB, Genesis 32:24 NKJB

Are we wrestling with God in prayer over situations and needs, or does our prayer life consist of wants and maybe dinner? Understand when we do wrestle with God, He will always win and it may even hurt, but it’s all for our own good, so don’t let go!

“When He saw that He did not defeat Yaakov He struck Yaakov’s hip socket, so that his hip was dislocated while wrestling with Him.”
Genesis 32:26 CJB, Genesis 32:25 NKJB

It’s not that God couldn’t defeat Jacob, it’s Jacob didn’t give up and wasn’t letting go of the LORD until He answered Him! We need to do the same: never giving up on a prayer and seeking the LORD!

“Pray regularly.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

Today, let our prayer lives be without ceasing, never giving up! Pray until the LORD sends us an anwser!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Laughter is good

“Avraham was one hundred years old when his son Yitz`chak (Isaac) [laughter] was born to him.”
Genesis 21:5 CJB

Everytime we just wait on the LORD, He will always give us joy and laughter! When we try to help Him or do things our way is when we have misery.

“Sarah said, God has given me good reason to laugh; now everyone who hears about it will laugh with me.”
Genesis 21:6 CJB

The LORD really wants us to have a life filled with His joy no matter what our situations may be!

“Still, I will rejoice in Adonai, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”
Habakkuk 3:18 CJB

Today, no matter how rough and tough life may be, our LORD wants us to go through it with His joy and laughter! Remember we are saved and are going to be with Him soon!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
