Seek Adonai

“Moshe went up onto the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.”
Exodus 24:15 CJB

Why did Moshe go up to the mountain? Because Adonai called him there and that’s where the glory of Adonai was!

“They glory of Adonai stayed on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moshe out of the cloud.”
Exodus 24:16 CJB

This is what we need to be doing, we need to be seeking the glory of Adonai in everything and everywhere we go!

“Adonai is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.”
Psalm 114:4 CJB

Today, with all the craziness going on in the world, our best bet is always going to be seeking the glory of Adonai! So in every situation and in every place seek Adonai!
Have an amazing day!

Follow Adonai

“Do not follow the crowd when it does what is wrong; and don’t allow the popular view to sway you into offering testimony for any cause if the effect will be to pervert justice.”
Exodus 23:2 CJB

Usually when we follow the crowd or go along with the popular view, it leads to disaster no matter what side of the aisle it’s on! People can easily get caught up in a popular view or follow the crowd mentality, just look at the disaster we have going on now!

“My son, if sinners entice you, don’t go along with them.”
Proverbs 1:10 CJB

We all need to be careful who and what we follow. We should only be following Adonai and His ways!
Be care of anti __, whatever it may be or how good it may sound!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands)t, listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13 :5 CJB

Understand, we will always do the right thing when we just follow Adonai and do what He says through His word! Be careful of picking and choosing verses out of context to fit your own thoughts and desires!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be kind

“You must neither wrong nor oppress a foreigner living among you, for you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 22:20 CJB

We all need to be careful of this, treating others poorly. We need to be kind no matter what! Believe me, the world could use some kindness! Remember, we were all lost and unsaved at one time!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

It’s real easy to get angry at people who hurt or offend us; it’s harder to love them when they do, but that is exactly what Adonai desires us to do!

“He told him, You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. This is the greatest and most important mitzvah (command). And the second is similar to it, You are to love your neighbor as yourself. All of Torah (law) and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot.”
Matthew 22: 37-40 CJB

God has always desired His people, His children, to be kind!
So today, walk away from anger and walk towards kindness!
May your day be richly blessed!

God will deal with it!

“May all your enemies perish like this, Adonai; but may those who love Him be like the sun going forth in its glory! Then the land had rest for forty years.”
Judges 5:31 CJB

At the end of the day, all the enemies of Adonai will perish. We need to remember His enemies are also ours!

“Adonai is alive! Blssed is my Rock! Exalted be the God of my salvation.”
Psalm 18:47 CJB

What we get to do is be blessed by the king of the universe for just simply trusting Him and loving Him! Don’t get worked up by what our enemies try to do to us!

“Adonai will do battle for you. Just calm yourselves down!”
Exodus 14:14 CJB

Today, no matter what is going on, know that all our enemies, which are God’s enemies too, will be beaten!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shalom

“If you purchase a Hebrew slave, he is to work six years; but in the seventh, he is to be given his freedom without having to pay anything.”
Exodus 21:2 CJB

There is so much we can unpack here, but we will look at a couple of things! One of the first things God deals with is slavery. Remember, they just spent 400 years in it! God doesn’t want slaves, He wants us to treat each other well and to be free!

“You have six days to labor and do all your work.”
Exodus 20:9 CJB

The number six is really significant here: six days work and then rest, six years work and then be set free, we see six thousand years then that day Adonai calls us home to be with Him for all eternity!

“Moreover, dear friends, do not ignore this: with the LORD, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day.”
2 Peter 3:8 CJB

It seems throughout scripture rest and peace come on the seventh day or year and God says what He means and means what He says!

“The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but everyone should turn from his sins.”
2 Peter 3:9 CJB

Today, let’s really look forward to that free gift of eternity with God and share that Good News with others!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
