Realize God has saved us from the pits of Hell and has given us a new life in Him, that should give us a real desire to simply obey Him and walk in His ways!

The more we walk in the loving ways of Adonai using His word to guide us, the more blessed our lives will be!

“For, Adonai what you do makes me happy; I take joy in what Your hands have made.”

Today, let’s really be thankful we are no longer slaves to sin (Egypt) anymore!

We do have a lot of needy people and as the times around us get darker, there will be more! When we give freely to the poor, it always gives us opportunity to share the Good News of Salvation!

“When someone asked you for something, give it to him; when someone wants to borrow something from you, lend it to him.”
Matthew 5:42 CJB

As giving as we should be, remember God doesn’t want us to be foolish, but He also doesn’t want us to be stingy either! We must always be prayerful about giving, but we need to be giving!

“He who is kind to the poor is lending to Adonai; and He will repay him for his good deed.”
Proverbs 19:17 CJB

Today, we need to realize God gave us an abundance so we can be giving, not to see what we can get in return, but to be freed up from being selfish and stingy! Remember, we can never out give God, we just need to use what He has given us for His glory!

“You are not to eat anything disgusting.”
Deuteronomy 14:3 CJB

I find this to be an interesting verse and it can open up a huge debate on food, what to eat and what not to eat, but let’s just stick with the word disgusting! We shouldn’t take in or do anything disgusting. I also believe food is included, but we can address that some other time!

“I will not allow before my eyes any shameful thing. I hate those who act crookedly; what they do does not attract me.”
Psalm 101:3 CJB

Now Adonai wants us to be mindful of what we see, movies, T.V. and what’s on the internet. There are so many disgusting things we can watch and see, so be careful of what we take in!

“For He is our God, and we are the people in His pasture, the sheep in His care. If only today you would listen to His voice.”
Psalm 95:7 CJB

Understand the word of God tells us what is good and what is bad, what is beautiful and what is disgusting! We need to just read His word and listen to His voice and be very careful about doing what we think is acceptable! Remember His ways are higher than ours!

“If a prophet or someone who gets messages while dreaming arises among you and he gives you a sign or wonder and the sign or wonder comes true as he predicted when he said, Let’s follow other gods, which you have not known; and let us serve them, you are not to listen to what that prophet or dreamer says. For Adonai your God is testing you, in order to find out whether you really do love Adonai your God with all your heart and being.”

There will always be evil imposters who come along to entice us! We can ask God why He allows it? The answer is simple, to test us, to see not only how much we love Him, but also to see how much we trust Him alone!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with the Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.”
2 Timothy 3:12-13 CJB

We live at a time where truth is always in question, we have thought police, disinformation boards and a multitude of others telling us what is fake and what is true! God is the only one who is total truth and His word is completely reliable, so let’s look to Him for everything!

“All Adonai’s paths are grace and truth to those who keep His covenant and instructions.”
Psalm 25:10 CJB

Today, know that there are so many paths of deception out there, remember the true path is following Adonai and His ways.

This is so important for us today, with people making statements like it’s my truth or what I think is right! We need to live by God’s truth, not our opinion of it or interpretation of His word to fit our agenda! We all need to be careful of doing things our own way!

“At that time there was no king in Israel; a man simply did whatever he thought was right.”
Judges 17:6 CJB

This sounds like the world today! As believers, we really need to follow hard after God and do what He says! When we do our own thing it always leads to disaster!

“All a person’s ways are right in his own view, but Adonai weighs the heart.”
Proverbs 21:2 CJB

Today, when we go to do something, the question we should ask is does it glorify God? If the answer is no, then don’t do it!
