Trust Adonai

“But when he was strong, he became arrogant, which caused him to become corrupt, so that he sinned against Adonai his God by going into the temple of Adonai to burn incense on the incense altar.”
2 Chronicles 26:16 CJB

Sadly, this happens to believers. God blesses their ministry and they become strong, then pride kicks in and they start doing things they weren’t meant to do! Pride can destroy!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

Here is a good saying: “Stay humble or you will stumble!” Remember our strength is in Adonai!

“God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble”
Psalm 46:1 CJB

Life is full of challenges, but when we make God our refuge and strength the challenges will become easier!
Have a blessed day!

Don’t be deceived

“As a result, the anger of Adonai blazed up against Amatzyah, and He sent him a prophet, who said to him, Why have you sought out the gods of those people, when they couldn’t even rescue their own people from you?”
2 Chronicles 25:15 CJB

Why would anyone worship anything, especially a god that couldn’t even save their enemy? The gods of this world can’t save you, they can only deceive you!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

The world is full of deception, the enemy is a liar and deceiver looking for those who he can devour with his false and misleading gods! So be on guard and stand on the truth of Yeshua to guide and direct you!

“Yeshua said, I AM the Way-and the Truth and Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 CJB

If you don’t want to be deceived, then follow Yeshua and walk in His ways!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Walk in His joy

“Yo’ash did what was right from Adonai’s perspective throughout the lifetime of Y’hoyada the Cohen.”
2 Chronicles 24:2 CJB

When we do what is right through the perspective of Adonai, it will always be a blessing to us!

“Doing Your will, my God, is my joy; Your Torah is my inmost being.”
Psalm 40:8 CJB

Again, doing God’s will always give us joy, following His word is always going to lead to His blessings and never question: did we do the right thing!

“But may all who seek You be glad and take joy in You. May those who love Your salvation say always, Adonai is great and glorious!”
Psalm 40:16 CJB

Seeking Adonai should always be our greatest joy! Why? Because He has given us salvation and His Word on how to walk in it!
So let’s do what’s right, by walking in His ways today!
Shabbat Shalom!

Spend time with God

“Then all the people went to the house of Ba’al and broke it down; they smashed altars and images and killed Mattan the priest of Ba’al in front of altars.”
2 Chronicles 23:17 CJB

Are we willing to smash the pagan altars we have in our own lives? You may say I don’t have any pagan altars, but where do you spend your time? The average person spends over two hours on social media per day! Do we spend that much time with Adonai?

“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? Or the gods of Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”
Joshua 24:15 CJB

This is a great question for all of us to ask: are we serving Adonai and spending time with Him?

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

The best way to serve Adonai, is by spending time with Him! The more time with Him, the less time we will be on social media!
Have a blessed day serving Adonai!

Look to the light

“Achazyah was forty-two years old when he began his reign, and he ruled for one year in Yerushalayim. His mother’s name was ‘Atalyahu the daughter of `Omri.”
2 Chronicles 22:2 CJB

Atalyahu, is the daughter of Ahav and Jezebel and was as wicked as they were! The point here is that many leaders then and now are evil and wicked, we just need to be on guard and watching the times we are living in!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

What’s this tell us? We need to be careful of what we put our hope in, we need to simply trust Adonai and not be deceived by the wickedness around us!

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
Psalm 36:9 CJB

Let’s look to Adonai for all our things and not to the world! Don’t be deceived by darkness, but instead let’s look to His glorious light!
Have a blessed day walking in His light!
