Life is a journey

“They began their journey from Ram’ses in the first month. On the fifteen day of the first month, the morning after the Pesach, the people of Israel left in view of all the Egyptians.”
Numbers 33:3 CJB

Everything in life is a journey. We start at point A, and move on to point B. The cool thing is Adonai is with us every step of the way! Some stops are good and some are a bit trying, but life is a journey until we make it to our ultimate goal of heaven!

“Since You are my rock and fortress, lead me and guide me for Your name’s sake.”
Psalm 31:3 CJB

While we are on life’s journey, there is no better way to navigate it than being in the word of God!

“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, as we walk through this journey of life, let’s keep Adonai close by our sides by being in His guide book, the Bible!
Have a amazing day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray for others

“Sh’mu’el said, Gather all Israel to Mitzvah, and I will pray for you to Adonai.”
1 Samuel 7:5 CJB

We should be doing the same lifting up people up to Adonai and praying for them! It’s always amazing to me when we pray for others, our personal problems always seem not to matter as much anymore or even just go away!

“Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for I pray to You.”
Psalm 5:2 CJB

We really need to be praying for people and situations around us, when we pray God hears and responds!

“When you call to Me and pray to Me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12 CJB

Today, remember prayer really is key to our walks with Adonai! We pray, He listens, just be careful of commands and demands! Prayer is requests and calling for God’s will!
Have a blessed day spending time with God in prayer!
Shabbat Shalom!

Give up

“Why be obstinate like the Egyptians and Pharaoh were? When He had done His work among them, didn’t they let the people go?-and they left.”
1 Samuel 6:6 CJB

The point here is the Philistines have taken the ark of the covenant from Israel and they been plagued with plagues and disasters! The question is how long will you go against God? How much more damage needs to be done?

“Pharaoh got up in the night, he, all his servants and all the Egyptians; and there was horrendous wailing in Egypt; for there wasn’t a single house without someone dead in it.”
Exodus 12:30 CJB

Here we see it took ten plagues to get Pharaoh to give up and let the people go! How long do we hold onto opinions, grudges or situations that really only hurt us, before we just give up and let God take over?

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

Today, don’t be like the Philistines or the Egyptians just give up, repent and watch what God will do!
Have a blessed day walking in the forgiveness God gives us when we repent!

Don’t mock God

“The people who didn’t die were struck with tumors; and the city’s cries for help reached the skies.”
1 Samuel 5:12 CJB

Here we see the Philistines capture the ark of God and mock God by putting it under their false god Dagon, which doesn’t work out well! Then they try to pass the ark onto other cities and the same results! We can’t mock or disobey God in anything and expect things to go well!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

We all need to remember we can’t mock God, nor can we get away with hiding anything from Him! So don’t try! If we are doing sinful things, we will reap disaster!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Today, know that life is always going to be easier and better for us when we do it God’s way!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Call upon Adonai

“When the army had returned to camp, the leaders of Israel asked, Why has Adonai defeated us today before the P’listim? Let’s bring the ark for the covenant of Adonai from Shiloh to us, so that He will come among us and save us from our enemies.”
1 Samuel 4:3 CJB

A few issues here first: no one asked or simply called upon Adonai for direction and then they blame Adonai for the defeat!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

The second issue is: they thought and object would save them and not God! Only God can save and nothing else.

“Adonai is my Rock, my fortress and deliver, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield the power that saves me, my stronghold.”
Psalm 18:3 CJB

Today, we can’t look to anything else, but Adonai! He alone is our shield, shelter and our deliver! Don’t go into battle without Him! Why? Because you will be defeated!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai before you step out into the battlefield of the world!
