See things God’s way

“But Adonai said to Samuel, Don’t pay attention to how he looks or how tall he is, because I have rejected him. Adonai doesn’t see the way humans see-humans look at the outward appearance, but Adonai looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 CJB

We all can get caught up in looking at what is on the outside or how popular a person is, but God looks at the heart and what is on the inside!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong; and God chose what the world looks down on as common or regards as nothing in order to bring to nothing what the world considers important so that no one should boast before God.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-29 CJB

We need to be careful of being impressed by things and people of the world, but instead let’s be impressed by Adonai and what He sees! He does allow crazy, foolish things to glorify Himself!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Today, let’s look to Adonai and all His wonderful perfect ways! Don’t get caught up in the world and its foolishness!
Have a blessed day!

God’s way is best!

“For rebellion is like the sin of sorcery, stubbornness like the crime of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of Adonai, He too has rejected you as king.”
1 Samuel 15:23 CJB

Just like Saul, the more we reject God and His word and keep doing our own thing, eventually He will reject us! God will only go so far with outright disregard of His word!

“Those who reject Me and don’t accept what I say have a judge-the word which I have spoken will judge them on the Last Day.”
John 12:48 CJB

I am personally so thankful for the grace and mercy of God! But with that said, we all need to be careful of ignoring the word of God or misusing His word!

“So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Matthew 5:19 CJB

Today, be careful of thinking we can just do what we feel is right, but let’s make sure we do things the way God says to!
Have a blessed day in Him!

God is our protector

“So Adonai saved Israel that day, and the battle spread as far as Beit-Aven.”
1 Samuel 14:23 CJB

God always saves us, even when we create many of the battles that we are in!

“Adonai is the one who saves the righteous; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.”
Psalm 37:9 CJB

Even though we create the battles, it is Adonai who saves us and gives a refuge, a stronghold to protect us in every situation!

“Adonai protects all who love Him, but all the wicked He destroys.”
Psalm 145:20 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in life’s battles, but instead get caught up in the strongholds of Yeshua!
Have a blessed day knowing Adonai protects you!

Repent

“Tziyon (Zion) will be redeemed by justice; and those in her who repent, by righteousness.”
Isaiah 1:27 CJB

Redemption always comes by repenting and receiving grace and mercy by what God has done for us! He was just and took on the penalty and paid the price for our sins! What an amazing God we have!

“But He was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the discipling that makes us whole fell on Him, and by His bruises [Or: and in fellowship with Him] we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5 CJB

Everything we have and are yet to receive is from Adonai, this should make us rejoice everyday in the salvation He has given us!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

Today, we all have a great deal to rejoice about in His salvation! If you are not saved then repent and join in His salvation!
Have a blessed day.
Shabbat Shalom!

Be patient

“Samuel said, What have you done? Saul answered, I saw the army was drifting away from me, that you hadn’t come during the time appointed and that the P’lishtim had assembled at Mikhmas.”
1 Samuel 13:11 CJB

We all need to be careful of acting like Saul, impatient and worried about our situation instead of being patient and waiting on Adonai!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”
Psalm 27:14 CJB

At times it can feel like the world is pressing down on us and we can get impatient, but the best thing to do is wait on Adonai! He has a plan and a way, even if we don’t understand!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Today, put all your hope in Adonai, trust Him and be patient He has a plan and it’s perfect!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
