“In this way the L’vi’im (Levites) quieted the people, as they said, Be quiet, for today is holy; don’t be sad.”
Nehemiah 8:11 CJB

As God calls us His royal priesthood, 1 Peter 2:9, it is our duty to quiet the people around us. We need to be the ones to be calm and treat everyday as holy (not ordinary)!

“Therefore consecrate yourselves-you people must be holy, because I am Adonai your God.”
Leviticus 20:7 CJB

We serve a holy God, and we are called His special holy people! So we should not be like the unholy world, which is being ordinary and not special! We should step up and step out as God’s special and holy people and be the calming spirit that the world needs!

“You are a light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Matthew 5:14 CJB

We all need to remember we really are the only light that the world around us might see, so let’s shine!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s reflect the calming light of Yeshua!
Have a blessed day shining for Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

“I put my kinsman Hanani in charge of Yerushalayim, along with Hannah the commander of the citadel. For he was a faithful man, and he feared God more than most.”
Nehemiah 7:2 CJB

God can and does the same thing for us when we are just simply faithful to Him! It’s not being perfect or the smartest, it’s just being faithful!

“All your creatures will thank You, Adonai, and Your faithful servants will bless you.”
Psalm 45:10 CJB

We all belong to Adonai, He created us to serve Him and be faithful to Him!

“His master said to him, Excellent! You are a good and trustworthy servant. You have been faithful with a small amount, so I will put you in charge of a large amount. Come and join in Your Master’s happiness!”
Matthew 25:23 CJB

Today, no matter what we need to be faithful with what, God has given us, no matter how big or small! Just be faithful!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

“When all our enemies heard about it and the surrounding nations became afraid, our enemies self-esteem fell severely; because they realized that this work had been accomplished by our God.”
Nehemiah 6:16 CJB

God does amazing things that even unbelievers notice, even though they may try to explain it off as some kind of random event! Their explanations come off weak or sound like total nonsense, this gives great opportunity to share about God when they are afraid!

“Adonia did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.
Psalm 126:3 CJB

We need to share the great things of Adonia!

“Sing to Him, sing praises to Him, talk about all His wonders.”
Psalm 105:2 CJB

Today, as the world around us crumbles and shakes, let’s take time to share all about the wonders God!
Have a blessed day!

“My God, remember favorably everything I have done for this people!”
Nehemiah 5:19 CJB

The cool thing is God knows all and sees all! He knows our thoughts and deeds! What we need to realize one day all our deeds will go through God’s righteous fire and only His glorious deeds will last!

“For You, God, have tested us, refined us as silver is refined.”
Psalm 66:10 CJB

We should be thankful that God is refining us, because if it’s left up to us we will just be unclean!

“All of us are like someone unclean, all our righteous deeds like menstrual rags; we wither, all of us, like leaves; and our misdeeds blow us away like the wind.”
Isaiah 64:5 verse 6 in other translations.

When we start to look at what we’ve said and have done, the only things that are really done right are the things we did with Yeshua leading us!

“But each one’s work will be shown for what it is; the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire- the fire will test the quality of each one’s work.”
1 Corinthians 3:13 CJB

Today, let’s be a body of believers that encourages each other to do the right thing, that’s God’s things and not our own! It also should show us that we need to became full of doing righteous things! Why? There will be an accounting of our foolish acts!
Have a blessed day trusting in Yeshuah!

“All of them together plotted to come and fight against Yerushalayim and thus throw us into confusion.”
Nehemiah 4:2 CJB verse 8 in other translations.

This is the plan of the enemy: attack and cause confusion! We just need to be aware of this and keep our eyes fixed and focused on Adonai!

“My eyes are always directed toward Adonai, for He will free my feet from the net.”
Psalm 25:15 CJB

We will never fall into the net of deception that’s cast out daily against us by the enemy when we keep our eyes on Adonai!

“Stay awake, and pray that you will not be put to the test-the spirit indeed is eager, but human nature is weak.”
Matthew 26:41 CJB

Today, be alert, stay awake and always be in prayer, because the world around us is full of confusion!
Have a blessed day!
