Remove sin

“When Yoram saw Yehu he said, Are you coming in peace, Yehu? He answered, Peace? with your mother Jezebel continuing all her cult prostitution and witchcraft? What a question!”
2 Kings 9:22 CJB

Yes, Yehu was coming to deal with all the vile sins of Jezebel and her family! Why? Because sin must be dealt with or it will fester and grow!

“Instead, clothe yourself with the LORD Yeshua the Messiah; and don’t waste your time thinking about how to provide for the sinful desires of your old nature.”
Romans 13:14 CJB

We need to make no provision for sin, we just need to get rid of the old sinful nature and continue to clothe ourselves in Yeshua!

“Adonai, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I lay my needs before You and wait expectantly.”
Psalm 5:3 CJB

Today, the best way to get rid of the sins that may drag us down is by calling on Adonai before we do anything and wait, knowing He will answer!
Have a blessed day getting rid of our old nature and clothing ourselves in Yeshua!
Shabbat Shalom!

Watch and pray

“The woman acted at once and did as the man of God had said-she went with her household and stayed in the land of the Philistines for seven years.”
2 Kings 8:2 CJB

When God speaks or directs, we shouldn’t hesitate to take action!
How do we know that God is speaking to us now? Just look at all the warning signs we see around us today!

“You will hear noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. For people will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; all this is but the beginning of birth-pains.”
Matthew 24:6-8 CJB

We do see these things happening all around us today. The war on drugs, border invasion, wars, crimes on our streets and storms and there is so much more we could list. What do we do?

“Stay alert! Be on your guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”
Mark 13:33 CJB

Today, let’s stay alert by watching, praying and being ready to take action when God directs us to.
Have a blessed day watching for Adonai!

Trust Adonai

“This servant on whose arm the king was leaning answered the man of God: Why, this couldn’t happen even if Adonai made windows in heaven! Elisha answered, All right, you yourself will see it with your own eyes; but you won’t eat any of it!”
2 Kings 7:2 CJB

We need to be careful of doubting God! Everything He says comes to pass, His promises never fail! We just need to trust Him no matter what!

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him; then He will level your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5&6 CJB

We need to simply just trust Adonai and believe in all that He says!

“That is exactly what happened to him, because the people trampled him down in the gateway, so he died.”
2 KINGS 7:20 CJB

Today, don’t be that guy who doubts Adonai! Just simply trust even if you don’t understand what God is doing!
Have a blessed day just trusting Adonai!

Focus on God

“Elisha prayed, Adonai, I ask you to open his eyes, so that he can see. Then Adonai opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw: before him, all around Elisha, the mountain was covered with horses and fiery chariots.”
2 Kings 6:17 CJB

Even though we don’t see them, we too are surrounded by the armies of God! Just know God has us well protected!

“Haven’t I ordered you, Be strong, be bold? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

We will always have battles in life! Difficulties come and go, but Adonai is always right there beside us! We just need to trust!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

So instead of focusing on the difficulties of life, let’s focus on Adonai instead!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

Don’t be fake

“Aren’t Amanah and Parpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the water in Israel? Why can’t I bathe in them and be clean? So he turned and went off in rage.”
2 Kings 5:12 CJB

Don’t get caught in the trap of having everything prestigious and ornate, we all can get caught in thinking things need to be glamorous instead of being simple! God wants us to be humble and live in humility!

“Adonai sustains the humble but brings the wicked down to the ground.”
Psalm 147:6 CJB

Be careful of trying to keep up with the people who look like they live perfect lives or have all the best things! Remember, looks can be and often times are deceiving!

“There are those with nothing who pretend they are rich, also those with great wealth who pretend they are poor.”
Proverbs 13:7 CJB

You can pretend to have everything and yet have nothing and also you can have basically everything and still be empty!
Today, don’t try to be something you really are not. Instead give all to Adonai and watch how He fills every need!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
