Repent

“Moreover, he made offerings in the Ben-Hinnom Valley and even burned up his own children as sacrifices, in keeping with the horrible practices of the pagans, whom Adonai had thrown out ahead of the people of Israel.”
2 Chronicles 28:3 CJB

God has removed and thrown out all the pagan practices we had in our lives also when we accepted Him as LORD and Savior! Sadly, many believers seem to find their way back into their old pagan practices!

“I will heal their disloyalty, I will love them freely; for My anger has turned from him.”
Hosea 14:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations.

God is so gracious to us, even when we fail. He is always willing to forgive and forget! The problem in the church today, just as in the days we are reading about here in scripture, is the church unfortunately has allowed pagan practices back in! We need to be repenting and dedicating ourselves to Adonai!

“Then, if My people, who bear My name, will humble themselves, pray, seek My face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 CJB

Today, understand if we want to see revival, it must first start with God’s people! We need to be humble and seek Adonai, turning from our wicked ways!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai.

Call on Adonai

“Thus Yotam became strong, because he prepared his ways [of doing things] before Adonai his God.”
2 Chronicles 27:6 CJB

What great advice! Before we do or say anything we should consult Adonai to do things His way.

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

Life will always be better when we do things Adonai’s way! We will still have the same issues of life good days and bad days. But when we are doing things Adonai’s way, it’s always going to be better!

“How happy the people who live in such conditions! How happy the people whose God is Adonai!”
Psalm 144:15 CJB

Today, the world may be depressing and discouraging, but in Adonai we will have joy!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Walk with God

“Adonai said, I have seen how My people are being oppressed in Egypt and heard their cry for release from their slave masters, because I know their pain.”
Exodus 3:7 CJB

This should be comforting to us. God sees our suffering, oppression, pain and hears our cries! He also knows each and everyone of us by name!

“Why, every hair on your head has been counted! Don’t be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:7 CJB

Sometimes we all need to be reminded of how much God loves us! Remember He gave all for us and He also knows everything about us! How? He made us!

“I thank You because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; Your works are wonders-I know this very well.”
Psalm 139:14 CJB

“Today, know that God has perfectly made us and He knows everything we are going through! He has a perfect plan and will get us through so simply just walk in His ways!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Delight in Adonai

“He did what was right from Adonai’s perspective, following the example of everything his father Amatzyahu had done.”
2 Chronicles 26:4 CJB

We kind of see a pattern with many of the kings who do well in the beginning, then they begin to get prideful and arrogant! Having pride in Yeshua and being saved isn’t a bad thing until it makes us feel like we are above others or we can do whatever we want!

“Then you will delight yourself in Adonai, and He will give you your heart’s desires.”
Psalm 37:4 CJB

This is a very misquoted verse, it doesn’t mean God will give us whatever we want, but instead when we find our delight in Him and walking in His ways, He will give us the desires He puts on our heart!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

Today, let’s be committed to God from beginning to end, doing life His way as we see in His word! Then watch what amazing desires He puts in your heart!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
Shabbat Shalom!

God’s way is best

“But a man of God came to him and said, King, don’t let the army of Israel go with you; because Adonai is not with Israel or with any of the people of Efrayim. And if you do go, then no matter how fiercely you fight, God will cause you to fail before the enemy. For God has the power to help and to cause failure.”
2 Chronicles 25:7-8 CJB

We really need to do what God tells us to do without question. He will always get His way! God also has the ability to help or allow us to fail, either way it’s always part of His perfect plan to encourage or correct us!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

No matter how crazy or far fetched God’s ways may seem, we need to just simply follow them! Why? Because His ways are always going to happen!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, we need to simply just do and trust what God has set before us!
Have a blessed day in Him!
