Give

“So in the days of Z’rubavel(Zerubbabel) and in the days of Nechemyah (Nehemiah), all Israel gave portions to the singers and gatekeepers as required daily. They set aside a portion for the L’vi’im, who, turn set aside a portion for descendants of Aharon.”
Nehemiah 12:47 CJB

We also need to give those who are in ministry enough so they can live as Adonai gives us all that we need to live!

“I will sing to Adonai, because He gives me even more than I need.”
Psalm 13:6 CJB

The idea here is we need to be praising Adonai for everything and freely give as He freely gives!

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
2 Corinthians 9:6 CJB

Today, let’s be people who freely and willingly give! Our example is Yeshua, who gave all for us, so we should do the same!
Have a blessed day giving!

Pray blessings

“P’tachyah the son of Mesheizav’el, from the descendants of Zerach the son of Y’hudah, was the king’s deputy in all affairs concerning the people.”
Nehemiah 11:24 CJB

Just like these servants of the king, we servants of the King of kings, Yeshua, need to be concerned with all the affairs of the people around us! Not judging, but leading by example and praying!

“When Iyov (Job) prayed for his friends, Adonai restored his fortunes; Adonai gave Iyov twice as much as he had before.”
Job 24:10 CJB

We need to be lifting other people up in prayer, not to get things, but because we should care and be concerned for others! When we are praying for other people, taking our eyes off of ourselves, God always has a way of blessing us more!

“Bless those who persecute you-bless them, don’t curse them.”
Romans 12:14 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who are ready to pray and bless others, remembering it’s far too easy to be negative and cursing!
Have a blessed day lifting others up!

Share about Yeshua

“We will not give our daughters as wives to the peoples of the land or take their daughters as wives for our sons.”
Nehemiah 10:31 CJB

We also need to be careful of how we mingle with the world! Yes, we must go to work, go to school and buy groceries in places of the world. But be mindful of who and what you get involved! We must always be an ambassador for Adonai!

“Therefore we are ambassadors of the Messiah; in effect, God is making His appeal through us. What we do is appeal on behalf of the Messiah, Be reconciled to God!”
2 Chronicles 5:20 CJB

Realize we all have a job to share the good news of Yeshua in the world. That doesn’t mean we have to partner with the world!

“A truthful witness saves lives, but a liar misdirects.”
Proverbs 14:25 CJB

Today, don’t partner with the world, but instead let’s be a witness for Yeshua to the world!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Repent

“Those descended from Israel separated themselves from all foreigners; then they stood up and confessed their own sins and the iniquities of their ancestors.”
Nehemiah 9:2 CJB

We need to do the same, separate ourselves from the world, confess our sins and realize we live in a fallen world! In other words, repent and turn from wickedness!

“When I acknowledge my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then you, you forgave the guilt of my sin. (Selah)
Psalm 32:5 CJB

We all want to see revival happen, but understand for revival to happen we need to have repentance!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”
Job 36:10 CJB

Today, we need to be praying for people around us to repent! We also need to be sharing the greatness of Adonai! Realize god is warning. We just need to listen!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Seek God early

“Moshe wrote down all the words of Adonai. He rose early in the morning, built an altar at the base of the mountain and set upright twelve large stones to represent the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Exodus 24:4 CJB

Are we waking up early and getting into the word of God? We all can make excuses on how we don’t have time to get into the word with God! But, what we need to do is get up early and make the time to read and hear His word!

“Adonai, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I lay my needs before You and wait expectantly.”
Psalm 5:3 CJB

We always need to be seeking God early in the morning and early in every situation! It’s His voice we need to hear first in every situation!

“But He said, Far more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
Luke 11:28 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who seek God early and hear and obey His word!
May your day be richly blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!
