Be wise

“Esther did not disclose her people or family ties, because Mordekhai had instructed her not to tell anyone.”
Esther 2:10 CJB

At times it is best to keep quiet about who we are and wait for the right time! Often times it is better to act godly instead of just being loud and direct!

“The character of even a child is known by how he acts, by whether his deeds are pure and right.”
Proverbs 20:11 CJB

We need to act like believers, so when we do need to speak our actions back our words!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, even if you feel you’re in a difficult situation where maybe you can’t speak out, simply just continue to be godly and wait to speak at the God—appointed time!
Have a blessed day looking for the right opportunities!

Be kind

“Moreover, the noble ladies of Persia and Media who hear of the queen’s conduct will mention it to all the king’s officials, which will bring about no end of disrespect and discord.”
Esther 1:18 CJB

This can be a touchy subject about wives honoring their husbands, but the fact of the matter is, we live in a society that’s been belittling men for decades! Just look at some of the sitcoms we have had over the years making men out to be fools! Women really do need to honor and respect their husbands, but men need to love and protect their wives!

“Wives should submit to their husbands as they do to the LORD; because the husband is head of the wife, just as the Messiah, as head of the Messianic Community, is himself the one who keeps the body safe.”
Ephesians 5:22-23 CJB

Men really need to be stepping up to the plate to be strong believers in Yeshua, leading their wives, and wives should be supportive of that!

“As for husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah loved the Messianic Community, indeed, gave Himself up on its behalf.”
Ephesians 5:25 CJB

Today, understand men don’t need to be dictators and ogres towards your wives, we just need to love them! Wives don’t need to be disrespectful to your husbands, just love and support them! If you’re not married just love Adonai and be kind to others and pray for your future spouse!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Shalom

“Adonai gave Shlomo (Solomon) wisdom, as he had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Shlomo-the two then formed an alliance together.”
1 Kings 5:26 CJB 5:12 in other translations

We see here God gives what He promises to us! One of the things He promises us is to give us shalom (peace) and when we walk in His peace it really does spread!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

The world gives false peace, but Yeshua gives us His perfect peace and real peace gives us real security and comfort!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’ plans for well being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, seek God and His perfect shalom (peace) receive it and then give it out!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be giving

“Tell the people of Israel to take up a collection for me-accept a contribution from anyone who wholeheartedly wants to give. The contribution you are to take from them is to consist of gold, silver and bronze.”
Exodus 25:2-3 CJB

We all need to be giving and when we give we need to not give leftovers, but we should give our best and wholeheartedly!

“Each should give according to what he decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 CJB

God has given us His best through Yeshua! God didn’t withhold anything from us, so neither should we!

“Yours, Adonai, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty; for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. The kingdom is yours, Adonai; and you are exalted as head over all.”
1 Chronicles 29:11 CJB

Today, realize everything belongs to God, He has given us so we, too, should be giving!
Have a blessed day giving!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t be distracted

“There were also living there people from Tzor who brought in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on Shabbat to the people in Y’hudah and even in Yerushalayim.”
Nehemiah 13:16 CJB

There will always be people around us who want to distract us and steal from us the time we spend with God! We just need to stand strong and ignore them or remove ourselves from them!

“Didn’t your ancestors do this, and didn’t our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you are bringing still more fury against Israel by profaning Shabbat!”
Nehemiah 13:18 CJB

When we allow things and people of the world to distract us and steal our special time with God, disaster awaits us!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
Psalm 105:4 CJB

Today, be careful of the world stealing your time with God! Seek His face every chance you get and turn off the distractions!
Have a blessed day seeking God!
