Understand God will not let the fowl and vile people get away with sinning against Him! He will deal with them and their obstinance towards Him!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

Be careful of getting upset because people seem to get away with sinning! Realize they don’t!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Do what? Repent! When people continue in sin, they will get what they deserve! So we don’t have to worry or get upset about their continued sin! We can rejoice because we are saved, because we’ve repented!

“But if you tell me, We trust in Adonai our God, then isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hizkiyahu has removed, telling Y’hudah and Yershalayim, ‘You must worship before this altar’?”

This is the world today, they don’t understand how God works and quite frankly neither do some who claim to be believers! Here we see Rabshakeh, taunting Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem, how can you worship God without the high places that have been torn down by Hezekiah! For believers, this is easy. We don’t need shrines or buildings to worship Adonai, we can worship anywhere!

“But can God actually live on the earth? Why, Heaven itself, even the Heaven of Heavens, cannot contain You; so how much less this house I have built?”
1 Kings 8:27 CJB

Nothing can contain God, no matter how much we try to fit Him into our box, so to speak! We all need to worship God in His ways, not ours!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and Your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Today, know that God doesn’t fit into our plans and ways, we need to fit into His! So worship him all the time and everywhere!

“Say to the fainthearted, Be strong and unafraid! Here is your God; He will come with vengeance; with God’s retribution He will come and save you.”

Even though we live in a time of tribulation and the soon coming judgment of Adonai, we can rest in the very fact that Adonai is coming to save us!

“For Adonai has a day of vengeance, a year of requital for fighting with Tziyon.”
Isaiah 34:8 CJB

Is this going to be the year when Adonai takes vengeance on the world that rejects Him? I don’t know, but what I do know is it will happen! No one gets away with anything!

Today, let’s not get caught up in the things of the world, but let’s get caught up in the things of Adonai!

This day spoken of throughout scripture is fast approaching and as everyday passes we are one day closer!

“The Spirit of Adonai Elohim is upon me, because Adonai has anointed me to announce good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim freedom to the captives, to let out into light those bound in the dark; to proclaim the year of favor of Adonai and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn.”
Isaiah 61:1-2 CJB

Now understand the day of vengeance will be a terrible day for the nonbeliever, but for those who belong to Adonai it will be a great day of celebration! What we need to be doing in the mean time is share good news and not get caught up being angry at the world’s rejection of God!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

Who is your neighbor? It really is anyone whom you come in contact or interact with! So what are we to do? Love people by sharing the Good News of Salvation and if they reject you simply just move on and not get angry! God is going to deal with it as His word promises!
In this New Year let’s love and share, because the terrible day of vengeance of Adonai is fast approaching!

“For Adonai is our judge, Adonai is our Lawgiver, Adonai is our King, He will save us.”
Isaiah 33:22 CJB

As we close out this year with all the ups and downs it had: Wars, storms and a lot of division, we can always be confident that Adonai is in control of all things!

“Sing praise to Adonai, you faithful of His; and give thanks on recalling His holiness.”
Psalm 30:4 CJB

We should all be reminded that God has saved us, He has healed us and He has done great things! Know that He has done in our past so be confident He will do the same in our future!

“On the day of my trouble I am calling on You, for You will answer me.”
Psalm 86:7 CJB

As we continue into the New Year, remember God was there in our past, in our present and He will be there for us in our future!
