God is our refuge

“You, Adonai, reign forever; Your throne endures through all generations.”
Lamentations 5:19 CJB

To those who love God, understand He is our shelter, our refuge and our dwelling place! He calms all the storms of life, we just have to trust in Him!

“Adonai, You have been our dwelling place in every generation.”
Psalm 90:1 CJB

No matter what storm the world can throw at us, we can always find refuge in Adonai!

“Show me favor, God, show me favor; for in You I have taken refuge. Yes, I will find refuge in the shadow of Your wings until the storms have passed.”
Psalm 57:1 CJB

Today, let’s put all our hope and trust in Adonai and not worry about the trials of the world!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Truth

“Adonai Himself scattered them; He will no longer look after them; they had no respect for cohanim and showed no kindness to the leaders.”
Lamentations 4:16 CJB

Two things that we can glean from this! One: God puts Bible teachers in our lives to help guide us! Two: we all have a responsibility to check what they are saying to be true! We need to always be checking and verifying the truth, does it match the Word of God, that is His whole Word, not just the parts we like!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear.”
2 Timothy 4:3 CJB

Honestly, nothing has really changed. People will always refuse to hear truth, especially when it goes against the way they want to live! We just see it happening more frequently and in greater numbers! God’s way is always best, even if our lives feel uncomfortable! We can’t live our way, we must live His way!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Man’s ways can and will never match Gods ways! Gods ways are always full of faith, hope, mercy and grace, based on His truth! Which, when we follow Yeshua, we will always be much better off!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is light and hope!

“Adonai is good to those waiting for Him, to those who are seeking Him out.”
Lamentations 3:25 CJB

Even though judgment of God can seem harsh, understand His mercy and grace is a thousand times greater! Are we waiting on Adonai?

“Adonai, in the heavens is Your grace; Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.”
Psalm 36:5 CJB

It is really in Adonai that we can see life and light, if we look at our jobs, health and finances we can see a lot of darkness, but in Adonai is forgiveness, light and life!

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
Psalm 36:9 CJB

In everything we can think or do, we can always find the perfect answer in Adonai!
Have a blessed day calling out to Him!

God knows all!

“Adonai has done what He planned, He has fulfilled His promise, which He decreed in ancient times. He has destroyed without pity, He has let the enemy gloat over you and filled your foes with pride.”
Lamentations 2:17 CJB

This is a pretty bleak verse. It shows that God will not allow us to continue with rejecting His ways! Our sins and disobedience will find us out and God will use whatever means He can to correct us! Why? To get us back on track with Him!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

The simple fix is to simply repent and correct course! When we call out to God and repent, He forgives!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB

Today, understand two things! One: we can’t get away with sin, God will deal with us! Two: if we repent, God forgives and forgets!
Have a blessed day giving up on sin and giving into God!

God frees us

“See, Adonai, how distressed I am! Everything in me is churning! My heart turns over inside me, because I have been so rebellious. Outside, the sword brings bereavement; inside, it is like death.”
Lamentations 1:20 CJB

Sin will always leave us sickened, distressed and in bondage! But, repentance will always make us feel relieved and stress free!

“But Adonai is righteous; He cuts me free from the yoke of the wicked.”
Psalm 129:4 CJB

Everything that Adonai does is right, He has given us a way to be free from sin and destruction that can hold us in bondage! We just have to choose the path of life through Yeshua (Jesus)!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me.”
Psalm 55:16 CJB

Always remember God hears us and He saves us! So don’t get caught up in sin, but instead be caught up in Adonai’s salvation!
Have a blessed day!
