This shows that Israel always has a future, but other pagan believing nations don’t have a chance! God removed Israel from their homeland, but destroyed the Amonites right where they were! Why? Because paganism, antisemitism and total unbelief in God will be dealt with and destroyed for their rejection of God!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’plans for well-being, not for bad things so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

God, knows His plan and what He has in store for us all! For us who believe in Yeshua, we have a future and a hope in Him! This future and hope also has His beloved children of Israel as part of that future and plan! To know this is true all we have to do is look at Israel, and we can see that perfect plan! No matter how hard the world tries to destroy them, they are still here!

“I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 12:2-3 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice that we are saved by God and created for his purposes! Let’s also understand how great God is and how we are called to share His Good News of Salvation and also blessing Israel is part of that plan!

When God judges and deals with sinfulness, it will always be in a perfect and upright way, He is not a petty God! His judgments will always be perfect and justified!

“The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just. A trustworthy God who does no wrong, He is righteous and straight.”
Deuteronomy 32:4 CJB

God is righteous and perfect in everything! There isn’t one thing out-of-place that He says or does! He corrects and forgives when we repent. He forgives because of His righteousness, not ours!

“For Adonai is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared more than all gods.”
1 Chronicles 16:25 CJB

Today, realize how much we need God and how much we need to cling to Him in everything!

This is speaking of Zedekiah, who was a corrupt and evil leader who had his eyes poked out and taken to Babylon. Sadly, he was a reflection of the people in Judah at that time! Often times our leaders are only a reflection of the people who put them in power! Leaders will let us down, but Yeshua (Jesus) never will!

“It is better to take refuge in Adonai than to trust in human beings; better to take refuge in Adonai than to put one’s trust in princes.”
Psalm 118:8-9 CJB

Interesting that this is the middle chapter of the Bible and it tells us that we need to trust and take refuge in Adonai only! Why? Because He will never let you down!

“Those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You have not abandoned those who seek You, Adonai.
Psalm 9:10 CJB

The good news today is when we put our trust in Adonai, know this, He will never leave you or forsake you! He will never let you down!

God really does take no pleasure in sinners dying! He desires us to repent and live! He has given us Salvation. Man is responsible for his own sin. He must repent!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

God is calling everyone to repent and turn from their sins! He also desires us to share that Good News of Salvation with others!

“You will guide me with your advice; and afterwards, You will receive me with honor.”
Psalm 73:24 CJB

What a glorious day that will be when we get to be in the Kingdom of God! So for now, let’s walk in His ways and put all our hope in Him!

It is only God who can make something or someone rise or fall! So when man in all His pride tries to rise up above God or take credit for grand things happening, be real careful!

“Then they said, Come, let’s build ourselves a city with a tower that has its top reaching up into Heaven, so that we can make a name for ourselves and not be scattered all over the Earth.”

Here we see man building to compete with God and be equal to Him! We see this happening all around us today! We know what God did to them!

“Come, let’s go down and confuse their language, so that they won’t understand each other’s speech. So from there Adonai scattered them all over the Earth, and they stopped building the city.”
Genesis 11:7-8 CJB

God, knocks down the prideful people and He will lift up the humble! Don’t be babel (confusion), instead be humble and godly, seeking after the wisdom of Adonai!
