Here is a thought if our old sinful self is dead! The point Shaul is making here is a dead man can’t sin, because dead men can’t do anything anymore! Why? Because they are dead! We who are alive in Messiah need to be living sinless lives! How? By immersing ourselves in His Word, which is living!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

The more that we are in the Word of God, the less we will sin!

“Teach me, Adonai, the way of Your laws; keeping them will be its own reward for me.”
Psalm 119:33 CJB

The best thing we can do when we feel anxious, angry, abused or have anxiety is to be in the Word of God! Actually we just need to be in the Word of God for everything, His Word gives life!

No matter how much we sin and blow it, Yeshua still has us covered! All we have to do is repent and receive His forgiveness!

“Or perhaps you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins.”
Romans 2:4 CJB

Repenting here and now is what we need to do! There is no time to put off repentance!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

Today, is the day of salvation, so don’t wait!

How amazing it is that God sacrifices Himself in order for us to spend eternity with Him!

How awesome it is that the creator of the universe not only pays the price for our sins and forgives, he also forgets them when we repent!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB

So have a blessed day knowing when we repent He forgives and forgets!
We really do serve an awesome God!

“For in His sight no one alive will be considered righteous on the ground of legalistic observance of Torah(God’s instructions) commands, because what Torah really does is show people how sinful they are.”

The Torah actually not only shows how sinful we are, but how much we miss the mark of being godly, it also shows us how much we need God!

“Why, before Him even the moon lacks brightness, and the stars themselves are not pure.”
Job 25:5 CJB

Even as we look up at the moon at night it seems to perfectly glow, but we know it’s covered by dust and dirt! Realize, we are not much better, we are also covered by dust and dirt! Again God still loves us not because of us, but because of who He is!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.”
John 3:16 CJB

We need to be so thankful that we have God’s Torah (the Bible) that shows us that we are sinners, but let us be even more thankful that God loves us and saves us!
