God is amazing

“But, as the Tanakh says, No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no one’s heart has imagined all the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 CJB also quoted in Isaiah 64

We have no idea what great things God has in store for us! What we need to know is that God does have amazing things prepared for us!

“He does great, unsearchable things, wonders beyond counting.”
Job 37:5 CJB

God does great and amazing things. We just need to focus on what He is doing, not the messes in the world around us!

“Call out to Me, and I will answer you-I will tell you great things, hidden things of which you are unaware.”
Jeremiah 33:3 CJB

Why would we look to anything or anyone else other than God? Adonai will answer us and is doing amazing and awesome things even if we don’t see it now! So keep seeking and calling on Adonai and watch and see what He will do, He is always doing amazing things!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God chose you!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong; and God chose what the world looks down on as common or regards as nothing in order to bring to nothing what the world considers important; so that no one should boast before God.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-29 CJB

Why does God choose what the world deems foolish? Really so no one can get glory or credit but Him! Remember it is God who created all things!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

Everything about Adonai is perfect, even when He chose you and I to represent Him!

“I thank you because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders-I know this very well.”
Psalm 139:14 CJB

Realize how amazing this is that God Himself perfectly made you and will also perfectly use you at the perfect time to glorify Him!
What do we need to do? Just keep watching and waiting upon Him!
Have a blessed day looking to Adonai!

Focus on Adonai

“I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put snares alongside the teaching in which you have been trained-keep away from them.”
Romans 16:17 CJB

What good advice! Stay away from senseless debates and arguments! Stick to the Word of God and what it says!

“For the word of Adonai is true, and all His work is trustworthy.”
Psalm 33:4 CJB

We need to be all about truth found in His Word, God’s truth which isn’t debatable!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

The best thing we can do is to be in the Word of God, studying it and practicing it! Stay away from useless worldly debates!
Have a blessed day following Adonai!

Be bold

“May God, the source of hope, fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) you may overflow with hope.”
Romans 15:13 CJB

God wants us to be filled with His Spirit and power having total hope and trust in Him!

“On the day of my trouble I am calling on You, for You will answer me.”
Psalm 86:7 CJB

Anytime we call on Adonai, He answers us, He wants us to be strong and full of His power and might!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

God desires us to be full of hope, trusting that He has all things taken care of! So we can can be bold in the times of trouble that often appear in life! Remember God will never fail you!
Have a blessed day!

Don’t Judge

“Therefore, let’s stop passing judgment on each other! Instead, make this one judgment-not to put a stumbling block or a snare in a brother’s way.”
Romans 14:13 CJB

We are to be careful of putting restrictions and stumbling blocks on others, but instead be mindful of what you do and say!

“Do not speak a curse against a deaf person or place an obstacle in the way of a blind person; rather, fear your God; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:14 CJB

The main theme of this chapter is taken from the Jewish teaching in Midrash: “You are not to place a stumbling block before the blind (uneducated believers)” Don’t be cruel and trip up others to make yourself look good!

“Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.”
Matthew 7:1 CJB

God doesn’t forbid judging wicked and evil things! Just be careful of jumping on other people’s failures and mishaps as if you are better or to make yourself look better!

“Why do you see the splinter in your brother’s eye but not notice the log in your own eye?”
Matthew 7:3 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of stumbling others to make ourselves look good and judging others for things that we are just as guilty of! Instead let’s love and encourage each other in the love that Adonai bestows on us!
Have a blessed day in Him!
