Choose the LORD, not the world!

“When leaders lead in Israel, When the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the LORD.” Judges 5:2

The same for us today we need men and woman to lead us in the ways of the LORD not the ways of the world. We can all be men and women, leading people to the LORD by just walking in His ways!

“Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

The fear of the LORD is realizing we can do nothing without Him and why would we want to! His ways are laid out for us in scripture, spending time in His word, will help us on knowing what to do in any situation!

“For all people walk each in the name of his god, But we will walk in the name of the LORD our God Forever and ever.”

Micah 4:5

When we look to the LORD for everything and do His will not our own, no matter what we will always be better off!

“Hear, O kings! Give ear, O princes! I, even I will sing to the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.” Judges 5:3

No matter what we have going on in life realize the LORD knows, and He has a way for us! So let us call upon Him, walk in His ways and praise His Holy Name! Have a blessed day! Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD has got this!

“And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.’

Exodus 17:11

The idea here is when we go out to battle, which is everyday we step out of the house! We need to be holding our hands up to the LORD, Because the battle belongs to Him and we are on His team!

“Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:47

What we need to do is really trust that the LORD has it all covered and He will get us through we just need to keep lifting up our hands!

“But Moses hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one one one side and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”

Exodus 17:12

Yes we all can get weary and discouraged, that’s why we need to hold each other up in prayer! Pray for people, pastors and ministries, we all get tired and discouraged from time to time! A quick word or prayer can and does go a long way.

“And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner;” Exodus 17:15

Today know this that the LORD is our banner He covers us always, let us be praying and lifting others up in prayer! Give some one a call, a text or just a simple word of encouragement! Let them know that the battle belongs to the LORD and He is the banner over them! Have a blessed day in Him.

Take a break, rest in the LORD!

“So the people rested on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:30

The LORD really wants us to take a break and spend time with Him! Life has a multiple of issues daily problems that need attention, don’t sacrifice spending time with the LORD trying to fight every battle. Take a break and rest in the LORD!

“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” Psalm 37:7

It’s never time waisted when we spend time with the LORD, resting in Him and seeking His views on the situation’s before us!

“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” Psalm 51:12

So take a break spend a day resting in the LORD, allowing Him to restore, renew and revive you! Life has enough problems and situations going on and they will be there when you get back! When we spend time with the LORD we come back to them with His strength, His vision and His heart on the situations before us! Have a blessed day resting in Him!

Let go of the world and hold on to the LORD!

“The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” Exodus 15:2

Funny just in the previous chapter the people were asking Moses if he brought them out to the desert for lack of graves in Egypt! We can be like this too, going from trial to victory right into another trial! In all things realize the LORD is our strength!

“Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?”

Exodus 15:11

Life is always going to throw obstacles and problems in our way. What we need to do is let go of them and hold onto the LORD!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

Realize issues will come and go as soon as we get through one, another will come! It’s the LORD who is our strength and He will get us through! So let go of the world and hold onto the LORD today and may your day be greatly blessed!

The LORD has a way!

“And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13

Like the children of Israel we to have the world and its problems coming against us! Health, bills, and life’s challenges impact us all, But the LORD is always on the job.

“The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Exodus 14:14

The solution is always the LORD, look to Him, get into His word for direction and words of encouragement! No matter what situation your in the LORD has a way out and is working it out!

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.” Jeremiah 17:14

Today when life’s problems arise, just look to the LORD, He has a way out filled with His peace! Have a blessed day!
