Don’t get distracted!

“The LORD commanded this to be given to them by the children of Israel, on the day that He anointed them, by a statue forever through their generations.”

Leviticus 7:36

The LORD still has commands for us to follow today and desires us to follow them! We will always be better off when we do!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

Realize the commands the LORD gives us are fairly simple to keep, but do we?

“Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God is one.”

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.”

Mark 12:29-30

Most of us get really distracted with other things going on around us that we can and do forget about the LORD! Just reading this chapter in Leviticus 7, I was distracted and was not looking to the LORD only!

“And the second, like it, is this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:31

And as my neighbor was walking by making lots of noise, I was complaining! My point and hopefully encouraging thought is; walking with the LORD takes a bit of effort on our part! When we read through Leviticus, let us be thankful we don’t have to sacrifice and make sin offerings to the LORD, but instead we get to love Him, learn from Him and walk with Him; that can be hard enough! Let us be that living sacrifice like ROMANS 12:1 says a reasonable service! May the LORD bless your day!

Keep the fire for the LORD burning!

“A fire shall always be burning on the alter; it shall never go out.”

Leviticus 6:13

We to need to keep the fire burning in our hearts, giving of ourselves to the LORD and praying continually!

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Romans 12:1

Presenting or giving of ourselves is a reasonable thing to do for the LORD! When we are doing things to and for the LORD, we will always be better off!

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

In other words we need to be in constant prayer, or have a regular prayer life! We need to keep the fire burning for the LORD! Today in everything going on in your life and around you, Look for the LORD in it! Never let your desire for the LORD burn out! Have a blessed day keeping the fire of the LORD burning in your heart!

The LORD has need of you!

“And He said to them, Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. And if anyone says to you, Why are you doing this? say, The LORD has need of it, and immediately he will send it here.”

Mark 11:2-3

The LORD calls us to serve Him, often times it makes absolutely no sense! Noah build a ark, Abraham sacrifice your son, Noah speak to a rock for water and Joshua walk around a city seven times Just to name a few! Here Jesus asks them to get a colt and there reply if anyone asks is “THE LORD HAS NEED” The same goes for us today!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong.”

1 Corinthians 1:27

Today realize the LORD chose you and I to be His hands, feet and even speak for Him! The LORD has need of you and me. WHY? Because He wants us to participate with what He is doing!

“This is the LORD’S doing and it is Marvelous in our eyes.”

Psalm 118:23 and Mark 12:11

The LORD is doing great things around us, we need to step out and be part of what He is doing! If anyone asks why, just tell them the LORD has need of it and watch where it goes! Have a blessed day in Him!

Covered by the LORD

“I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, And like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

Isaiah 44:22

We can and do blow it on so many levels; so glad that the LORD has saved us and redeemed us and is always calling us back to Him!

“Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.”

Psalm 31:5

Don’t let our foolish acts of disobedience rule our lives, but instead let us be comforted by the hand of the LORD who saves us! All we have to do is call upon Him!

“As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me.”

Psalm 55:16

Today know that you are covered by the LORD who has redeemed you! Know that when you drop the ball, all you have to do is call upon the LORD who forgives! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD works all things out!

“This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.”

Isaiah 43:21

The LORD formed us to praise Him, to worship Him and glorify Him! So let us be His witnesses not His debaters, questioning everything, but instead let us ask LORD let me see You in every situation!

“Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!”

Psalm 150:1

As we go through life realize no matter what is going on good or bad, easy or difficult the LORD designed you to deal with it and to praise Him through it all!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

Know this the Lord formed you for Himself and everything that happens will work out for the good! Today the LORD is calling you for His purposes which is for our good! So let’s glorify Him today! Have a blessed day!
