Is it really that long?

“Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”

Exodus 13:7

The LORD always allows what’s best for us, meaning we may have to go the long way! We always want short and easy, but long and difficult is often what happens. So just watch for the hand of the LORD and know He is right there with you.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8

While we maybe going the long way, we get to look to the LORD to guide and direct. This way we get to witness how amazing He is, and give Him all the glory!

“God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect.”

2 Samuel 22:33

Today you maybe thinking the situation your going through is to long and too hard, but rejoice because the LORD maybe saving you from longer and harder! Also a long difficult journey puts us in a position of more time with the LORD and to see His awesomeness! Have a blessed day! Shavua Tov (have a good week).

Come to the LORD

“And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.”

Matthew 25:33

The LORD does separate His own from the ones who are not His! We all have to make a choice to whom we will serve!

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house , we will serve the LORD.”

Joshua 24:15

Remember goats really just do their own thing, if left alone they will wreck your house, sheep follow!

“And Elijah came to the people, and said , How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21

We all have to make a choice either we are going to follow the LORD or the world! Are we His sheep or worldly goats? And as sheep we all know from time to time we can blow it, the good news is the LORD is calling us asking us to Come and follow Him!

“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Today no matter what is going let us be His sheep, not worldly goats! Knowing even if we have blown it we can simply just call on the LORD and Come to Him! Choose to serve the LORD today, not the world, Have a blessed day!

Watch and pray!

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the son of Man is coming.” Matthew 25:13

So much of our day can and is a distraction from the LORD, job, school, kids and just life in general! What Jesus is saying to us is with all the things going on around us we need to keep our eyes on the LORD!

“But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the LORD; in You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute.” Psalm 141:8

No matter what the day may bring forth, if our eyes are on the LORD we will always get through! The reality is the LORD is coming for us all one day, maybe even today! So lets watch for Him.

“Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7

Our day will always be better when we look to the LORD, seeking Him everywhere we go. A funny thing happens when we are looking for the LORD, our day becomes exceedingly better, because when we look there He is. Let’s keep watching and praying! Shabbat Shalom.

God see’s all and knows all!

“Do not fear, O Jacob My servant, says the LORD, For I am with you; For I will make a complete end of all the nations To which I have driven you, But I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, For I will not leave you wholly unpunished.”

Jeremiah 46:28

No matter where we go in the world the LORD is always with us, protecting and directing us! With that said, He knows everything we do and say and we don’t get away with anything!

“But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.”

Numbers 32:23

As we walk with the LORD and experience how good and gracious He is. We need to realize walking takes a little bit of effort on our part. We exercise our body’s, we eat healthy diets to work on our physical appearance! Then we should put some effort into our spiritual appearance too!

“Do all you can to present yourselves to God as someone worthy of His approval, as a worker with no need to be ashamed, because He deals straightforwardly with the Word of Truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 CJB

Today let us not fear what the world can do, but let us look to the LORD and watch what He is going to do! Realize the more time we spend with the LORD the less time we waste in the world. Have a blessed day in Him!

Go with the LORD!

“And it shall be, when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as He swore to you and your fathers, and gives it to you.” Exodus 13:11

Each and every day the LORD is bringing us to the land and is giving it to us.

“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

Everyday is made by the LORD, every situation is allowed by the LORD. We just have to look and see where He is, He wants us to come with Him as we go through the day filled with every situation good or bad!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Today realize wherever you go the LORD wants us to come there with Him, walk with Him and talk with Him all along the way! Have a blessed day in Him!
