“Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

Everything God made and does is good! It’s man that gets into things and messes it up! We have a tendency to do the opposite of what the LORD desires! The LORD is Love, but we can be hateful and jealous.

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is Love.”

1 John 4:8

In life we have to let things go more often than not! As humans we have a tendency to hold onto things and not let go! This is were jealousy and hate creep in and we become dark, not light.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8

If your feeling a little dark and need a boost of His light, really seek the LORD and ask Him to show you His way! Because usually if we are in the dark it’s because we are doing it our way! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD and His light!

“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.” Zechariah 14:16

One day everyone no matter what will be going to Jerusalem to worship the LORD! What a day that will be when all nations, tribes and people of the earth worship the King!

“I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalm 122:1

One of the things we can do as believers, since we know that this day is coming! Were every knee will bow and every tongue will confess before the LORD! Today we can be lights shinning for the LORD and mouths calling people to the LORD!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

We know the times we are living in, So let us show the folks around us the LORD we are living for! Let us be bold going to His house to worship and shinning His light wherever we are at! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom

“And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.” Zechariah 14:4

One day this is going to happen and what a glorious day it will be! No matter what we see going on around us, our LORD is going to one day soon and very soon make all things right! So let us put all our hope in Him!

“And in that day it shall be – That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.” Zechariah 14:8

Again the LORD is going to make all things right, all wrongs will be made right. So no matter how things may look, let us not get all caught in worry and stressing on things that really are out of our control! And know that the living LORD is in control!

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

Today know that the LORD is going to make all things right and all His promises are going to come through! Have a blessed day putting all your hope in Him!

“And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and unclean spirit to pass out of the land.” Zechariah 13:2

One day all the things that distract us from the LORD will be cut off, put out, removed from our memory! We won’t have the demonic and evil deeds of man plaguing us any more also! This also includes our sins and evil deeds!

“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

So as we look to that day when the LORD comes, we can rejoice in the fact that God is working in us and through us today! He has and does show great mercy towards us, because of His great love for us!

“For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our lawgiver, The LORD is our King; He will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

Today no matter how desperate things may look! In that day the LORD is going to make all things right! Have a blessed day knowing you are saved!

Sukkot

“Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD. On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.” Leviticus 23:34-35

The Israelites were commanded to make booths, tents temporary dwelling places. To represent the tents or booths that the children of Israel dwelt in for forty years. For us what a great way to look at this world, it really is only temporary! We may live 70, 80, 90 years or even more! No matter what its still temporary!

“I am a stranger in the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me.” Psalm 119:19

As believers we really are strangers in a strange Land (the world) and if we look around us it’s getting stranger! One of the traditions done on Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is to build their booths to be a bit flimsy; not super stable! I like this because in many ways it represents us being flimsy; not super stable! The good news is the LORD is stable and rock solid! The Feast of Tabernacles should remind us of that this world is temporary and dwelling with the LORD is for eternity!

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-4

When we look at the appointed times of the LORD found here in Leviticus 23, we can see so much of His heart for us, that gives us the hope of heaven! Remember this world is temporary and heaven is for eternity! So let us live for the LORD who is steadfast and strong, not like us who are flimsy! Have a blessed day!
