Walk in the light!

“This shall be the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest.”

Leviticus 14:2

We all have the disease of sin, in one way or the other! The sins that we can and do commit are way to numerous to list, but we are all guilty and need the LORD!

“As for me, I will call upon God. And the LORD shall save me.”

Psalm 55:16

The only way out of darkness is to walk in the light of the LORD!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1

Today don’t be caught up in the leprous darkness of the world, but instead let us walk in the glorious light of the LORD!

Have a blessed day and week!

Watch and pray!

“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Mark 14:38

The LORD really wants us to be watching and praying! Watching what is happening around us and praying about it! Watching for the LORDS return and praying for it! Watching for people who need salvation and praying for them!

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.”

Mark 13:33

The LORD doesn’t tell us to watch and make comments or watch and have a opinion! He says to watch and pray!

“And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Mark 13:37

Today let us be aware of what is going on around us, and before we speak, give advice or make any kind of comment let’s PRAY! Have a blessed day full of time praying to the LORD!

Delight in the LORD!

“Then Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.”

2 Samual 7:3

Statements like this sound great, do what’s in your heart. What we need to do is ask the LORD, because our heart can get confused with our wants, then we go to LORD asking Him to bless my mess!

“Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

Psalm 37:4

The key here is to Trust, Delight and commit to the LORD! If we are delighting our selves, that means we are satisfied and happy in Him and what His desires are for us!

“Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”

Psalm 105:4

No matter what the situation is in life, before we act seek the LORD ask His advice and wait for Him to reply! Have a blessed day delighting in the LORD!

Be filled with the peace of the LORD!

“Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.”

2 Samuel 6:14

The idea of David dancing before the LORD just shows how much David loved the LORD knowing He has all things worked out! The LORD really desires us to be filled with joy, celebrating how good He is!

“Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, Praise the name of the LORD!”

Psalm 113:1

Life is full of obstacles, things happen good and bad! We all can have rough days, were we have know idea how things will work out, But know this the LORD will get us through!

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

The LORD wants us to be resting in His peace knowing He is going to work all things out! Today let our hearts be filled with His peace and joy and let us be joyful believers! Have a blessed day knowing it’s going to all work out!

Search your heart!

“For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Leviticus 11:44

God wants us to know what is clean and unclean, what is good for us and what is bad for us! Why? Because He loves us and wants the best for us!

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxieties.”

Psalm 139:23

It’s always a good day to search our hearts, to look inside ourselves to see if there is something that needs to be removed or changed! The word of God gives us the tools to know whats right and whats wrong, whats good and whats bad.

“For I am the LORD who brings you up out of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

Leviticus 11:45

Realize the LORD wants us to be set apart from the world and its destructive ways! Today seek the LORD and His perfect ways. Have a blessed day walking in the ways of the LORD!
