Judge less and pray more!

“You are not to curse God, and you are not to curse a leader of your people.”

Exodus 22:27 CJB

It’s not our usual practice to curse God, we should stay away from saying things with ___ damn in it! Unfortunately it doesn’t stop us from cursing our leaders, which are put in place by the LORD!

“Bless those who persecute you – bless them, don’t curse them!” Romans 12:14 CJB

I know it’s real easy to make excuses for not liking our countries leaders, our local leaders or even our bosses, But the LORD doesn’t want us to curse them! What we need to do is pray for them!

“But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” Matthew 5:44 CJB

It’s always easier to put down people who anger or irritate you, But let’s try to pray for them instead! Let’s pray blessings on our leaders, their families, our teachers and our bosses no matter how hard it maybe! When we pray and love on others, we will be filled with His joy! Have a blessed day!

Don’t judge people before you know their story.

“Now these are the judgements which you shall set before them”

Exodus 21:1

When you look at these judgements (Mishpatim in Hebrew). Realize that the Hebrews just came out of four hundred years of slavery bondage. What the LORD is saying treat each other with respect and fairness! You don’t know what might have them in bondage today.

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:11

When we look at people around us, understand we have no idea what they maybe going through! If we did, we would probably have a lot more compassion, and be less judging!

“He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.” Proverbs 19:17

So let us not judge one another on political beliefs, food or even doctrinal beliefs, let us just love each other! The reality is we never know what the person next to us is going through or has just been through! So let us just be servants of the LORD pointing people to the LORD! Have a blessed day!

Help our unbelief!

“When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.”

Matthew 28:17

We to from time to time can have some doubt! Are we going to make it through what ever trial or situation that you maybe going through! How am I going to pay the bills, is this sickness going away and what do I do next. These are some of the things that can weigh us down and give us doubt! Then we ask the question LORD are you there?

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, LORD, I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24

Life is full of trials and tribulation the LORD allows them to build us and grow us for Him, not to hurt us or punish us! He wants us to look to Him for everything to be completely reliant upon Him!

“And you shall swear, The LORD lives, In truth, in judgement, and in righteousness; The nations shall bless themselves in Him, And in Him they shall glory.” Jeremiah 4:2

Life can throw so many things at us to give us doubt, distract us and discourage us; to ask LORD where are You do You care? We can believe, but at times we need some help with our unbelief! Today look to the LORD not at your situation and trust and see what He will do! Have a blessed day knowing He is right there with you!

Confess before the mess gets bigger!

“Then Judas, His betrayer seeing that He had been condemned was remorseful and brought the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders.” Matthew 27:3

Here we see Judas do the worst thing imaginable, he’s sorry but doesn’t repent! Being remorseful or even sorry doesn’t replace repenting! Judas knew he was wrong, just like us when we blow it!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9

This is great news for me and you to be reminded of, that we can be forgiven of anything if we just confess! When we repent the LORD can and does amazing things in our lives! WHY? Just because we confessed, no because He is faithful and just!

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Today let us goto the LORD for everything, because He is faithful and just and He wants to heal us. Don’t be like Judas who was sorry but not repentant! Have a blessed day knowing we serve a forgiving LORD! Shabbat Shalom

Let us be united not divided!

“Let us go up against Judah and trouble it, and let us make a gap in its wall for ourselves, and set a king over them, the son of Tabel.” Isaiah 7:6

Here we see the Northern tribes of Israel allying themselves with Syria to go against Judah, basically fighting amongst themselves! We see this same thing with believers today; my church is better or donate and support my ministry, while putting another one down! SAD!

“And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Mark 3:25

We may have different doctrine and ways of doing things, but if we agree that Jesus is LORD and Savior, most other things we agree or disagree with really don’t matter much! We need to love one another as the LORD says!

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

When we love people, we seem to judge others less! When we love people we seem to overlook the things that don’t really matter! When we Love people we start to have more compassion on what others are going through! Today let’s not be divided, let’s pray for each other and even give a call, send a text and let someone know you love them! Have a blessed day in being united with the LORD, not divided!
