Spend time with the LORD

“And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.”

Numbers 28:25

The LORD really wants us to take a break, and just hang out and reflect upon Him!

“But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him.”

Psalm 4:3

When we set apart time for the LORD, He is right there to spend that precious time with us.

“But my eyes are upon You, O God the LORD; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute.”

Psalm 141:8

We all should take a break, and spend time with the LORD! Set some time to be apart with the LORD this week, you’ll be blessed!

Freedom in the LORD

“Let the LORD, the God of the sprits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation.”

Numbers 27:16

This doesn’t mean that a bunch of men can lay hands on someone and suddenly they are anointed! It means look for the LORD’s anointing on someone, be sure the man leading is being led by the spirit not the flesh!

“The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.”

Isaiah 11:2

We also need to make sure the LORD is leading us also! Is what we do and say being led by the LORD or our flesh!

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Matthew 11:29

Today if we really want to be independent from the world, all we have to do is follow hard after the LORD, and look to leaders who are doing the same! Have a blessed day filled with the freedom of the LORD!

Take account

“Take account of the people twenty years old and above, just as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt.”

Numbers 26:4

It’s good from time to time to make an account of yourself. To see what part of you is for the LORD and what parts are still in the world!

“Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”

Proverbs 4:27

We need to take account of our lives; But we also need to remove the evil junk in it.

“Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.”

Psalm 119:29

Take some time today to make a assessment of your life! Check to see if you have some stuff to remove and remove it! Have a blessed day walking in the grace of the LORD!

Remove sin!

“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal.”

Numbers 25:11

Like Phinehas we need to have zeal for the LORD, and not fall into the ways of the world, by removing all the junk that can consume us.

“Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day.”

Psalm 71:8

The best way we can remove the world from our lives is to fill ourselves with His praise.

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”

Psalm 150:6

We all have issues in life, good times and bad times! The best way to get through them is to have a zeal for the LORD and praise Him in everything! Have a blessed day.

Don’t deny the LORD

“But Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying! Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.”

Luke 22:60

How often do we deny or doubt the LORD? Probably more often than we care to omit! We say things like “God d.. it or use the LORDS name in vain! We all blow it from time to time!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9

Even when we blow it, we need to be reminded that our LORD always forgives us when we call out to Him and confess!

“The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”

Psalm 145:18

So whatever you maybe going through don’t deny or doubt instead call out to the LORD! Have a blessed day.
