Don’t wander!

“For if you turn away from following Him, He will once again leave them in the wilderness, and you will destroy all these people.”

Numbers 32:15 NKJV

Anytime we choose not to follow the LORD, and do our own thing we end up in the wilderness of life; Wandering around aimlessly!

“And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies saying things which which they ought not.”

1 Timothy 5:13 NKJV

One of the keys to a fruitful life is to be in the word of the LORD, hearing and doing what it says! Taking in a steady diet of God’s word will always keep us from wandering in the wilderness of the world.

“Without prophetic vision, the people throw off all restraint; but he who keeps Torah (Gods instructions) is happy.”

Proverbs 29:18 CJB

Let us follow hard after the LORD today! Have a blessed day in Him.

Wash in His word

“Purify every garment, everything made of leather, everything woven of goats hair, and everything made of wood.”

Numbers 31:20

It took God one night to take the children of Israel out of Egypt and forty years to take Egypt out of Israel! The same goes for us we need to be washing ourselves in the water of His word daily!

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.”

Psalm 1:2

The way to stay washed is by being in the word of the LORD, not the news feed of the world! Have His praises, His word being played and heard everywhere you go!

“He shall be like a tree Planted by rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”

Psalm 1:3

Today let us purify and wash ourselves in the water of His word, have a blessed day!

Be careful of making vows

“If a man makes a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.”

Numbers 30:2

We all need to be careful of making vows we can’t keep! Like get me out of this one LORD and I’ll never do it again.

“Better not to vow than to vow and not pay.”

Ecclesiastes 5:5

Unfortunately today people are used to making vows and not keeping them! Just look at the divorce rate not only with worldly people, but with believers too! The key to keeping a vow is the LORD!

“So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may daily perform my vows.”

Psalm 61:8

So today before you make a vow or a promise, seek and praise the LORD first! Have a blessed day!

Seek the living LORD

“Then they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?”

Luke 24:5

We often do the same things today look for living things among dead things! When we are supposed to be alive in the LORD!

“You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual acceptance to God through Jesus.”

1 Peter 2:5

Often depression and sickness in our lives comes from us playing around in dead stuff! We worship a living God, not a dead object made of wood, stone or concrete!

“You will show me the path of life: In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Psalm 16:11

Today let us seek living not the dead! Let us worship the living LORD, not dead worldly things! Have a blessed day In the LORD!

Shut up!

“Then He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.”

1 Kings 19:11-12

In the Hebrew its not a small voice or a whisper, God was in THE ABSOLUTE SILENCE! In other words for us don’t look at the wild distractions we can see around us! Like fires, earthquakes, rocks splitting or fake news! Let us be silent and still!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10

Often times as we go through life all we do is talk and act out making a lot of noise, being still and keeping silent before the LORD is something we should do! Waiting and listen for His voice is a good thing!

“But the LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”

Habakkuk 2:20

Today realize we all have things going on around us, decisions that need to be made, choices to make and directions to go. Instead of being in busy mode, try being in silent and listening mode! Have a blessed day. Shabbat Shalom!
