“Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom.”

Genesis 13:12

We read in previous verses that herdsmen of Abraham and Lot weren’t getting along! The solution was to separate, which at times is a good idea, but it seems here that Lot had his eyes on the area of Sodom, it looked good and exciting! This is a good warning for us too! Things may look good, a shiny object so to speak, we just need to be careful and wait to see what the LORD says!

“Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

Psalm 27:14

Sometimes we can and do get impatient, we get ahead of God or we are looking at the shiny object! We can start to look at others and think they are being more blessed or things are better for them and we start to quarrel! Be careful, don’t look at them, but instead look to the LORD!

“Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”

Micah 7:7

Today, don’t get impatient, don’t look to others and don’t feel left out! The LORD really has it all covered. Don’t get ahead of Him. When we do, we start quarrels with people and with the LORD! God has a perfect green pasture for us, so just look to Him. Have a blessed day!

Genesis 12:1

The LORD will often ask us to step out and go and He’ll let us know when we get there! It’s called faith!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7

As we get going about our day, know that even though we may have an agenda, a daily plan. Remember, the LORD has an ultimate plan. When obstacles arise, which they will, the LORD allows them to happen so we can exercise our faith in Him to show us His way!

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.”

Isaiah 55:8

Today, let us listen for the voice of the LORD and follow His directions! The best way to get direction from the LORD is to get into His word!

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Romans 10:17

Have a blessed day searching His word and then stepping out in faith to do it!

“From that time on, Yeshua (Jesus) began proclaiming, Turn from your sins to God, for the kingdom of Heaven is near!”

Often times we can focus on the wrong things in life. We can be consumed by health, politics and basic life issues. What we really need is to be consumed by the LORD.

“Yeshua (Jesus) said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men!”

Matthew 4:19 CJB

When we are fishing, casting our nets to catch people with the good news of salvation, we look forward! In other words, don’t look backward at failures, heartaches and missed opportunities!

“This is the day that the LORD has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”

Psalm 118:24 CJB

Even though today may have its challenges, the LORD still made it! You may even be dealing with the messes from yesterday, but today is a fresh day to look for new opportunities! Let us all look for the chance to share the love of the LORD with someone! Cast out the net of salvation, proclaiming the good news of the LORD! May your day be richly blessed.

“Turn from your sins to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”

The LORD really desires us to repent, turn from our sins and walk in His ways! How do we walk in His ways? By being in His word and doing what it says!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”

Psalm 119:11 CJB

We are so blessed to be able to open up our Bibles and read His word any time of the day. We literally have at our fingertips, it’s on our phones, computers and iPads. We can read and listen to His word anywhere! So let’s hear it and do it!

“However, Yeshua answered him, Let it be this way now, because we should do everything righteousness requires. Then Yochanan (John) let Him.”

Matthew 3:15 CJB

If our LORD does everything righteousness requires, spelled out in His word, so should we. Today, spend time in His word and then do what it says. Have a blessed day!

At the time this was written, America didn’t exist. In fact, this was written almost three thousand years ago. Why is this important? Because I believe it’s a call for us today to share the simple love of the LORD, not programs, building projects or what our financial goals are! We need to be simply sharing the love of the LORD. We really are living in a time where people around us are lost!

“Seek Adonai while He is available, call on Him while He is still nearby.”

Don’t wait, when the LORD calls and He is calling, answer Him! Let’s not be standing on the sidelines watching, but let’s get in the game and run the race to win! You and I belong to the LORD!

“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”

John 6:37 NKJV

Today, we need to realize we are called by the LORD, summoned to preach His good news of salvation. So let us seek Him, go to Him and know He won’t cast us out. You are called to share His good news. Have a blessed day simply just sharing the love of the LORD.
