Don’t fall into unbelief

“Look the LORD your Good has set the land before you; go up and posses it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 1:21

What’s is interesting here is the LORD had already said the land is good! All they had to do is step out and take it! Do we do the same thing question what the LORD sets before us to do?

“Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the LORD your God.”

Deuteronomy 1:26

Why did the children of Israel rebel? Probably for the same reason we rebel, Unbelief! We can believe in the LORD, but still not believe He can do it!

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, LORD, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Mark 9:24

Often times we can belief and love the LORD, but we can doubt and have unbelief also! Today lets step out into His promises, without the restrictions the world puts on us!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

Have a blessed day and week stepping out into the promises of the LORD!

Jesus is the answer

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold! The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

John 1:29

We also need to look to the LORD every day, He is the only way! Are we looking to Him for everything?

“His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.”

John 2:5

Everything we need to know, every question we need answered is in the Word of God! What we need to be doing is praying and reading then doing!

“For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

John 3:17

Today no matter what you maybe going through, Jesus is the answer! So let us look to Him, Listen to Him and be saved by Him! Have a blessed day!

Can’t serve two masters!

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns – broken cisterns that can hold no water.”

Jeremiah 2:13

We can’t serve the world and the LORD, this is what was happening in Jeremiah’s day and we see it happening around us today!

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Matthew 6:24

When we are serving the LORD and following hard after Him, walking in His ways doing what He says life is always better! We may have problems and obstacles, but the LORD always gets us through!

“Have you not brought this on yourself, In that you have forsaken the LORD your God when He led you in the way?”

Jeremiah 2:17

In other words many of the problems we face today are of our own doing! When we are walking in the ways of the LORD we can avoid many of them! So today let us really look to the LORD for everything, because it is He who gets us through!

Shabbat Shalom.

Boundaries

“Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance – the land of Canaan to its boundaries.”

Numbers 34:2

The Lord really does want us to have boundaries with the world and worldliness! He wants us to be careful of what we come in contact with!

“Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.”

Numbers 35:34

It’s good to take a look in the mirror from time to time! Is the land we dwell in changing us to be worldly or godly? If we are looking and sounding more like the world, then we may need to change our boundaries!

“These are the commandments and judgements which the LORD commanded the children of Israel by the hand of Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.”

Numbers 36:13

We will always be better off when we are in the word of the LORD! Taking it in, Praying it through and then applying it to our lives!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

Today lets make godly boundaries, watch where we dwell and keep and apply the word of the LORD! Have a blessed day!

Life is a journey.

“These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.”

Numbers 33:1

We may look at this chapter and think it’s kind of boring just a bunch of names and places where the children of Israel traveled! But what we need to realize is the LORD was with them every step of the way! Like us our daily life can seem ordinary and boring, but the LORD is with us all the way.

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.”

Hebrews 13:5

What we need to realize is the LORD is always with us everywhere we go, no matter how exciting or boring it maybe! So stay focused on what the LORD is doing with you, don’t be coveting what other people may have or not have!

“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

Realize today is the day that the LORD has made, and it is perfect! Also know that the LORD is with you every step of the way! Rejoice and have a blessed day!
