Devotions

“The two men had not yet lain down when she returned to the roof and said to them, I know that Adonai has given the land. Fear of you has fallen on us; everyone in the land is terrified at the thought of you.”
Joshua 2:8-9 CJB

I believe the world around us has a certain fear of Adonai, whether they admit it or not! The problem is the world doesn’t desire to submit unto Him, but instead fights His people in hopes of removing God from the world! We just need to look for the Rahabs who want to join with God’s people and not fear the ones trying to destroy us!

“Truly Adonai has handed over all the land to us, they told Y`hoshua. Everyone in the land is terrified that we’re coming.”
Joel 2:24 CJB

One thing most of the world fears is death, because it is the unknown. We, as believers, know or at least should know that when we breathe our last breath here we will breath our first breathe in the promised land with Adonai! Again, our jobs are to find the Rahabs who want to join us! So today, let’s spy out the land, looking for them!

“All day long my mouth will tell of Your righteous deeds and acts of salvation, though their number is past my knowing.”
Psalm 71:15 CJB

Today, share Good News of Salvation, there are people who still want to hear about it!
Have a blessed day looking for Rahabs!

“Haven’t I ordered you, Be strong, be bold? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Like Joshua, we need to be strong, bold and courageous as we go out into the world! Remember, God is always with us wherever we go!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”
Jeremiah 1:19 CJB

There will always be battles in life. We all have difficulties at one time or another, we just need to remember that Adonai is right beside us and also goes out before us!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Today, let’s really be focused on Adonai and not the enemies before us, whether they be health, finances or just life’s events. Know that Adonai is right there with us, strengthening us to get us through to be with Him!
Have a blessed day in Yeshuah!

“But now I am going to woo her-I will bring her out to the desert and I will speak to her heart.”
Hosea 2:16 CJB

Does God woo you? Does He speak to your heart? Understand He allows us to walk in the desert of this world with all its trappings so we can see that the only thing that will really satisfy us is Him!

“You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.”
Psalm 145:16 CJB

When we taste the things of the world, we should realize it never really satisfies us, but Adonai always does, especially when we realize it’s His desires for us that we really want and need!

“You make me know the path of life; in Your presence is unbounded joy, in Your right hand eternal delight.”
Psalm 16:11 CJB

Today, we can all feel like we are walking through the deserts of life, but with Adonai we will always be satisfied!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

“Since that time there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moshe, whom Adonai knew face to face.”
Deuteronomy 34:10 CJB

Here is a really cool thought. One day soon and very soon we are going to see Adonai face to face! This should give us a huge amount of joy and excitement!

“Dear friends, we are God’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what we will become. We do know that we will see Him as He really is.”
1 John 3:2 CJB

This should really give us an excitement to share God’s good news of salvation, because we know that He is the real answer to all our needs!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation!”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

Today, the world can look depressing and out of control, but as believers in Yeshua we have the answer the world needs! It is God and God alone!
Have a blessed day telling people Yeshua is the answer for the world today!
Shabbat Shalom!

“Happy are you, Israel! Who is like You, a people saved by Adonai, your defender helping You and Your sword of triumph? Your enemies will cringe before You, but You will trample down their high places.”
Deuteronomy 33:29 CJB

Understand the world is getting increasingly evil, everywhere we look there is some kind of evil! What is the answer? The answer is Yeshua! Unfortunately, the world really wants nothing to do with the real answer, which is found in God!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

We see the world embracing evil and calling it good and calling righteousness evil. We need to be careful of falling into that trap and focusing ourselves on Adonai!

“Teach me to do Your will, because You are my God. Let Your good Spirit guide me on ground that is level.”
Psalm 143:10 CJB

Today, be careful of being caught up in foolishness, but instead be caught up in Adonai and His righteousness, because it is He who will guide us through!
Have a blessed day, being happy in the victory we have in Yeshua!
