We are God’s heritage

“So the descendants of Yosef, M’naseh and Efrayim took the inheritance.”
Joshua 16:4 CJB

Here we see that even though we are undeserving, God still gives us an inheritance and our inheritance is in Him!

“Adonai knows what the wholehearted suffer, but their inheritance lasts forever.”
Psalm 37:18 CJB

Our earthly inheritances don’t last, but our heavenly inheritances with Adonai are forever!

“How blessed is the nation whose God is Adonai, the people He chose as His heritage!”
Psalm 33:12 CJB

Today, realize how blessed we are to be part of God’s inheritance. We really are His!
Have a blessed day!

We need boundaries

“The territory chosen by lot for the tribe of the descendants of Y’hudah according to their families extended to the border of Edom in the Tzin Desert, toward the Negev in the far south.”
Joshua 15:1 CJB

God makes it clear here that borders and boundaries are good for us! Not just with land but also with people, we need to be careful of overstepping our bounds!

“Avoiding quarrels brings a person honor; for any fool can explode in anger.”
Proverbs 20:3 CJB

When we have boundaries we keep from quarreling and having bitterness! So it’s good to just let things go and not cross lines that could get us into trouble!

“A person whose desire rests on You, You preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3 CJB

Today, realize it is good to have borders and boundaries in life! Allow God to be that boundary and watch and see His perfect peace!
Have a blessed day!

God has you!

Now, look: Adonai has kept me alive these forty-five years, as He said He would, from the time Adonai said this to Moshe, when Israel was going through the desert. Today I am eighty-five years old, but I am as strong today as on the day Moshe sent me-I’m as strong now as I was then, whether for war or simply for going here and there.”
Joshua 14:10-11 CJB

God gives us all the strength to do the tasks that He has set before us! Whether it’s right now or forty-five years from now it is Adonai who strengthens us and also keeps His promises!

“Therefore, give me this hill, the one Adonai spoke about on that day; for on that day you heard how the `Anakim were there with great, fortified cities; perhaps Adonai will be with me, and I will drive them away, as Adonai said.”
Joshua 14:12 CJB

We may feel old or unqualified, but remember it is Adonai who strengthens us, prepares us and also goes before us! So we can complete every task that is set before us. So be bold and go for the mountain that is set before you!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with my victorious right hand.”
Psalm 41:10 CJB

Today, let’s not be in fear or afraid to step out in the LORD and do the things that He has set before us! Remember He has us covered in everything!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Look to Yeshua

“What are you, you big mountain? Before Z’rubavel you will become a plain; and he will put a capstone in place, as everyone shouts, It’s beautiful! Beautiful!”
Zechariah 4:7 CJB

We all have mountains of impossibilities in life, that Adonai will remove so we can see His might and be encouraged in our faith!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, His holy mountain.”
Psalm 48:1 CJB

God allows the difficulties (mountains) so we can see our faith built up! Which is why we really need to walk in faith not by site! We just need to trust that God will deal with all our mountains (difficulties)!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, don’t look at the mountains of difficulties, but look to our awesome God who levels the mountains!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Do you feel old

“Now Y’hoshua was old; the years had taken their toll. Adonai said to him, you are old, and the years have taken their toll; but there is yet a great deal of land to be possessed.”
Joshua 13:1 CJB

Maybe this is exactly how you feel today! Old, tired and worn out! Realize, if you are still on earth then Adonai isn’t done with you here and has more for you to do!

“It is God who girds me with strength; He makes my way go straight.”
Psalm 18:33 CJB

We may feel tired and worn out, but what we need to do is look to Adonai who strengthens us!

“Adonai, Adonai, my saving strength, my helmet shielding my head in battle.”
Psalm 140:7 CJB

Today, if you’re feeling useless or stressed out, remember Adonai still has a plan for you and will give you the strength to get you through!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!
