This is how the enemy works. They try to scare us and sap all our strength! This is Satan’s tactic to destroy, distort and distract our walks with Adonai! But Adonai has defeated Satan!

“Adonai said to the Accuser, May Adonai rebuke you, Accuser! Indeed, may Adonai, who has made Yerushalayim His choice, rebuke you! Isn’t this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”
Zechariah 3:2 CJB

Remember, Satan is just a loud hot burning old lion and God, has Satan taken care of, what we need to do is be on guard!

“Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8 CJB

We really need to be on guard, because the enemy is on the hunt! So let’s keep our eyes on Yeshua, not the loud, energy– sapping lion!

Do we get angry when our brothers and sisters are oppressed? Or do we care less? How does God look at the oppressed?

“He will have pity on the poor and needy; and the lives of the needy He will save.”

God has pity on us and saves us! We need to pray for, take čare of and stick up for the less fortunate, it is just the right thing to do!

“How blessed are those who care for the poor! When calamity comes, Adonai will save them.”
Psalm 41:1 CJB

We are all really poor and needy, but when we give and help others, God always blesses us!

Theses guys were working , but also were ready for battle! We all have tasks and jobs we do throughout the day, but we also have to be on guard with our spiritual swords sharp and ready to go!

Stay alert! Be on your guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”

With all that is going on in the world around us, we need to not be distracted, but we need to be on guard!

We need to be watching, praying and being on guard at all times! Even though Adonai has us covered, just know that the enemy is always looking for someone to devour!

This is what happens to us when we do things for the kingdom of God, the world gets enraged!

“With ungodly mocking and grimacing, they grind their teeth at me.”

We should never be surprised when we are serving Adonai and the world attacks us, instead we should rejoice!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

So let’s rejoice in serving Adonai today no matter what the world thinks!

Love what Nehemiah is saying here that no matter what man says, he will obey God, not man!

“Therefore, you are to love Adonai your God and always obey His commission, regulations, rulings and mitzvot(commands).”

No matter what, we need to obey God no matter what the world and its leaders demand!

“Kefa (Peter) and the other emissaries answered, We must obey God, not men.”
Acts 5:29 CJB

Who do we obey? God or man? We will never go wrong when we simply obey God and obeying Him isn’t too complicated!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome, because everything which has God as its Father overcomes the world. And this is what victoriously overcomes the world: our trust.”
1 John 5:3-4 CJB

Simply saying that keeping the commands of God isn’t meant to be a burden, but a blessing! So stick with doing life God’s way!
