Hear and do

“If you do, Adonai will fulfill what He promised me when He said, If your children pay attention to how they live, conducting themselves before Me honestly with all their heart and being, you will never lack a man on the throne of Israel.”
1 Kings 2:4 CJB

The idea here is that if the people would live as God instructs them to, He will bless them with a good man to lead them! If the people live and walk in sin then they will get the leader that reflects them!

“Then, if My people, who bear My name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 CJB

We bear the name of Adonai! He made us, redeemed us and saved us from our evil ways, so why do we get caught up in silly worldly ways, then walk in them?

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Understand we can’t just hear what God says in His Word, but we need to do it also!
Have a blessed day doing the word of God!

God has a plan for you

“King David grew old, the years took their toll, and he couldn’t get warm even when they covered him with bedclothes.”
1 Kings 1:1 CJB

Here is a fact for us all to realize! We are all gonna get old and we are all gonna die! Question is what are we gonna do until then?

“But they had no children, because Elisheva was barren; and they were both well along in years.”
Luke 1:7 CJB

Understand, Elizabeth and Zecharia were both old and did not have any children which was looked down upon, but God used them in their older years to have John the Baptist! So, as we get older, understand we aren’t dead yet and God can still use us mightily!

“Now, look: Adonai has kept me alive these forty-five years, as He said He would, from the time Adonai said this to Moshe, when Israel was going through the desert. Today I am eighty-five years old, but I am as strong today as on the day Moshe sent me-I’m as strong as I was then, whether for war or simply going here and there.”
Joshua 14:10-11 CJB

No matter how old or young you are if you are here on earth, it is God who has you here! He has a plan and a purpose for you and will give you the strength to do it! So keep looking forward to what God has planned for you to do!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shine

“Then David built an altar to Adonai there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. After this, Adonai took pity on the land and lifted the plague from Israel.”
2 Samuel 24:25 CJB

The best way to advert problems in life is to daily offer ourselves to Adonai!

“I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical Temple worship for you.”
Romans 12:1 CJB

God desires us to make our lives shine for Him! It is not unreasonable, but it is totally reasonable to be living sacrifice for Him!

“I, Adonai, called you righteously, I took hold of you by the hand, I shaped you and made you a covenant for the people, to be a light for the Goyim.”
Isaiah 42:6 CJB

God always intended for His people to shine His light throughout the world!
So let’s shine for Him today!
Shabbat Shalom!

God never fails

“For my house stands firm with God—he made an everlasting covenant with me. It is in order, fully assured, that he will bring to full growth all my salvation and every desire. “
2 Samuel 23:5 CJB

Understand we all blow it from time to time, the good news is that God never fails!

“My mind and body may fail; but God is the rock for my mind and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73:26 CJB

Life has many ups and downs, sadly we can have more downs than ups! But know that our Redeemer lives and He never fails!

“But I know that my Redeemer lives, that in the end he will rise on the dust;so that after my skin has been thus destroyed, then even without my flesh, I will see God.”
Job 19:25-26 CJB

Understand there is nothing this world can throw at us that can separate us from Adonai. Even when we fail or when our flesh is destroyed, Adonai will be right there with us!
May your day be richly blessed!

We have peace in Yeshua

“So I give thanks to You, Adonai, among the nations; I sing praises to Your name.”
2 Samuel 22:50 CJB

As rough as things got for David, whether it was His own making or not, He found it was always best to give thanks to Adonai! So should we!

“He delivers me from my enemies. You lift me high above my enemies, you rescue me from violent men.”
Psalm 18:49 CJB

Understand life will have trials and tribulations, but we will always have peace and safety in Adonai!

“I have said these things to you so that united with Me, you may have shalom (peace). In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

If you want to have shalom, unite yourself with Yeshua!
May your day be blessed in Him!
