“Yiftach(Jephthah) answered the leaders of Gil`ad, Didn’t you hate me so much that you forced me out of my father’s house? Why are you coming to me now, when you’re in trouble?”
Judges 11:7 CJB
The world seems to care where you come from until it needs something from you! But God has no favorites and loves using what is considered weak and foolish for His glory! He loves us all the same with no favorites!
“For Adonai your God is God of gods and LORD of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes.”
Deuteronomy 10:17 CJB
This should be encouraging to us, that God has no favorites He loves us all the same! Why is this encouraging? Because it gives us all equal opportunities to serve Him! So nothing in our past can hinder us fro serving Adonai, we are all on His team after we call on His name, repent and receive Him as LORD and Savior!
“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB
When we realize how just and perfect Adonai is, it should lead us to proclaim His greatness every chance we get!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
Repent
“Yet you abandoned Me and served other gods; therefore I will not rescue you any more.”
Judges 10:13 CJB
When we continue in sin and worship foreign gods, then are surprised when God doesn’t rescue us is a failure on understanding of God! God rescues those who call on His name, repenting of their wicked ways, then He saves!
“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB
The good news is when we repent, God is faithful and just to forgive! He knows we are sinners in desperate need of His Salvation!
“For He understands how we are made, He remembers that we are dust.”
Psalm 103:14 CJB
Even though God knows how He made us, He still allows us to make decisions, whether right or wrong! When we make the right decision, calling on his name, repenting, He forgives and forgets!
May your day be blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!
Be thankful
“This is how God paid back Avimelekh for the wrong he did to his father in murdering his seventy brothers.”
Judges 9:56 CJB
We are responsible for our own actions and when we don’t repent, God will deal with us, usually by letting our sin consume us or destroy us!
“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB
When we sin we have two choices, either repent and watch God forgive and forget, or continue on in it and be destroyed by our sin and actions!
“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB
Adonai knows all and sees all! He sees the good we do and also the bad! Don’t get hung up on the bad, but instead be thankful that when we simply repent, God is willing and able to forgive and forget!
“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB
Have a blessed day being thankful for god’s forgiveness, grace and salvation!
Victories in Yeshua!
“But the men of Efrayim complained to Gideon, Why didn’t you call on us when you went to fight Midyan? Why did you treat us this way? They were sharp in their criticism.”
Judges 8:1 CJB
How interesting that the men of Efrayim are complaining instead of celebrating victory in Adonai?
“Sing to Adonai, bless His name! Proclaim His victory day after day!”
Psalm 96:2 CJB
God does amazing and victorious things. He may use you or someone else to accomplish them. We need to just celebrate in the victories of Adonai, no matter who He chooses to complete them!
“For Adonai is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared more than all gods.”
Psalm 96:4 CJB
So, today don’t make little things become big things, but let’s celebrate the victories of God!
