Glorify God

“All their neighbors supported them by giving them articles of silver, gold, goods, animals, and valuables, besides all their voluntary offerings. “
Ezra 1:6 CJB

Are we supporting the works of God? Or are we holding back?

“Since the days of your forefathers you have turned from my laws and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot. “But you ask, ‘In respect to what are we supposed to return?’
Can a person rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tenths and voluntary contributions.”
Malachi 3:7-8 CJB

We all can be guilty of this robbing God and robbing His people! We need to be supportive of God’s people and the works they are doing for Him! We will never be let down doing the will of God!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

It’s not do good things so you can be glorified and get credit, it’s do good things to glorify God!
Have a blessed day doing good things for God and HIs people!

Speak for God

“He did what was evil from the perspective of Adonai his God. He did not humble himself before Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) the prophet speaking on behalf of Adonai.”
2 Chronicles 36:12 CJB

It’s not only doing evil from Adonai’s perspective, but also rejecting the people speaking for God! Are we speaking up for God or are we speaking up for the world?

“Then I heard the voice of Adonai saying, Whom should I send? Who will go for us? I answered, I’m here, send me!”
Isaiah 6:8 CJB

The same call goes out today, from Adonai! Whom shall I send? And we should give the same answer, here I am send me!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

We are all called to speak and share about Adonai, not to listen and follow the world!
So hear the voice of God today and share what He says!
Have a blessed day!

Focus on God

“After all this, and after Yoshiyahu had restored the house, N’kho king of Egypt went up to attack Kark’mish by the Euphrates River. King Yoshiyahu went out to oppose him; but N’kho sent envoys to him with this message: Do I have a conflict with you, king of Yhudah? No, I am not coming today to attack you, but to attack the dynasty with whom I am at war. God has ordered to speed me along; so don’t meddle with God, who switch me; so that He won’t destroy you.”
2 Chronicles 35:20-21 CJB

Here we see the godly King Josiah, making a foolish choice, he meddles in someone else’s affairs and pays the ultimate price! Death!

“Like someone who grabs a dog by the ears is a passer-by who mixes a fight not his own.”
Proverbs 26:17 CJB

We should learn this lesson about minding our own business! If it doesn’t affect you then back off! When God doesn’t give green light stay away! Many issues can be avoided if we don’t meddle!

“Yeshua said to him, If I want him to stay on until I come, what is it to you?”
John 21:22 CJB

The point Yeshua is making: we all have been appointed a task by Adonai and we should spend more time seeking His direction to complete that task! We should spend less time meddling in others’ affairs!
Have a blessed day seeking Adonai!

Repent

“But you are to tell the king of Y’hudah, who sent you to consult Adonai, that Adonai the God of Israel also says this: ‘In regard to the words you have heard, because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants-you humbled yourselves before me, tore your clothes and cried before me-I have also heard you,’ says Adonai.”
2 Chronicles 34:26-27 CJB

God will judge the people for their sins eventually! Why? Because they don’t fully repent! King Josiah does fully repent, but the people don’t! Understand when we repent God fully forgives, but when we don’t He will fully judge!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”
Job 36:10 CJB

God warns us throughout His Word that His desire for us is to repent and return to living in His ways, by walking by His Word not ours!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased; so that times of refreshing may come from the LORD’S presence; and He may send the Messiah appointed in advance for you, that is, Yeshua.”
Acts 3:19-20 CJB

This is good news to hear that if we simply repent, He forgives and restores us!
Have a blessed day committing yourself to God!

God restores

“He removed foreign gods and the idol from the house of Adonai and all the alters he had built on the hill of the house of Adonai and in Yerushalayim, and threw them out of the city.”
2 Chronicles 33:15 CJB

As evil as Manasseh was, when he hit rock bottom in a prison in Babylon, god heard His cry of repentance and forgave him!

“God restore us! Make your face shine, and we will be saved.”
Psalm 80:3 CJB

God is so gracious and kind when we repent He forgives, restores and forgets our sins!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB

This should give us all great hope, knowing when we blow it He is faithful and just to forgive!
Have a blessed day!
