“And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.” Exodus 1:21

This is a choice we have to make also, do we obey the world or God? Are we obedient to the LORD or do we fall in line with the world?

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

There is nothing new today, we also have to make this choice who do we serve. We are either for the world or for the LORD! We can’t have it both ways, we can’t pick and choose what we like and don’t like! We are either all on board for the LORD or not!

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Today being the last day of the year and New Year resolutions are being made! Let us choose to follow the LORD, He will never let you down! Like these Egyptian woman in Exodus, the word tells us God provided a household for them!

Jesus said; “Let not your heart be troubled, In His Fathers house are many mansions, He goes to prepare one for you. So you and I can dwell with Him forever!” John 14:1-4

Have a blessed day and even a happier New Year serving the LORD, knowing He does have a place for you! Shanah Tovah Umetukah (A good and sweet Year)

The LORD has need!

“And if anyone says to you, you shall say, The LORD has need of them, and immediately he will send them.” Matthew 21:3

Often times the LORD calls us to do something or calls us to go somewhere and we get asked why? The simple answer is the LORD has need!

“O earth, earth, Hear the word of the LORD!” Jeremiah 22:29

The LORD gives us all great instructions through His word on what to say and do. We need to be digging in and searching His word for His instructions for us, then doing them!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD!” Jeremiah 17:7

Today let us be in His word, seeking His instructions for our lives! Why? Because the LORD has need, He loves you and desires to send you out for His purposes! Have a blessed day!

He willingly paid!

“And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Matthew 20:27-28

We need to really be like the LORD serving others, not looking to be served! When we look at Jesus in front of Caiaphas, Pilate and at the cross, He didn’t defend Himself! WHY? Because He died for us and our sins, which have no defense! He just took the punishment and paid the price!

“As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me.” Psalm 55:16

The LORD has always made it real simple for us sinners, call upon His name and we will be saved! It seems the longer we walk with the LORD, the less we call upon Him to save us and the more we call on Him to thank and glorify Him on how good He is!

“Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1

His deeds; He is a perfect King, who took your imperfect life and paid for it! Today let us get into His word, walk in His ways and make known His deeds! Today let us be servants of the LORD! Shabbat Shalom!

Just do what the LORD says!

“And keep the charge of the LORD your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.”

1 Kings 2:3

Life will always go better when we just simply do what the LORD says! We will always get into trouble when we do our own thing.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15

When we love the LORD, keeping and doing what He says is a get to, not a got to!

“Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

Here David is about to die and he is telling his son Solomon, the best advice for his life is to walk in the ways of the LORD! This is a theme we will find throughout scripture. Do what the LORD says life is always going to be easier and full of blessings! Do our own thing and life will be messy and full of disasters! Today get into the word of the LORD allow Him to increase and let us decrease, less of us and more of the LORD is always going to be better! Have a blessed day in Him.

God uses all situations for His glory!

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

We can all get caught up asking why, why is there poverty, crime and disease to name a few things! Instead of just accepting that God has a plan and uses every circumstance to save people!

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.”

1 Corinthians 1:27

The LORD uses all situations for His glory, including the situation your in now! The LORD didn’t create evil, but He will use it to steer people to His salvation!

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.”

1 Peter 4:12

God isn’t being mean or uncaring, He has a perfect plan for us even the fiery trial which you maybe in now!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

Today know that the LORD has a perfect plan for us! No matter what your situation looks like, the world has plans for evil, God only has plans for good! Have a blessed day!
