We can have peace in the LORD

“I have no peace, no quiet, no rest; and anguish keeps coming.”
Job 3:25 CJB

Wow, we can feel like this is our life at this time! We turn on the news, look on social media and just go out in public and hear and see a lot of depressing things! We need to remember our hope is in the LORD!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”
Psalm 27:14 CJB

Anytime we look at the things going on in the world around us we can get depressed. When we look to the LORD, we will always be encouraged!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, even as we see the darkness of the world with no peace, don’t let it get you down. Instead, let us be encouraged and strengthened by the LORD! Let’s get out there and reflect His light!
Have a blessed day!

We have good and bad

“But he answered her, You’re talking like a low-class woman! Are we to receive the good at God’s hands but reject the bad? In all this Iyov (Job) did not say one sinful word.”
Job 2:10 CJB

Do we receive the good things that happen in our lives and reject the bad as if God was unaware of what is going on! We need to be careful of acting like some low-class person by cursing and complaining!

“For I know what plans I have for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Understand even when what we perceive as bad things happening to us, realize, God has a perfect plan!

“When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you seek Me, you will find Me, provided you seek for Me wholeheartedly; and I will let you find Me, says Adonai.”
Jeremiah 29:12-14 CJB

Job and Jeremiah are two men who know disaster, stress and bad things! But, they also knew that the LORD was always there and in control, having a complete and perfect plan for us! No matter how things may look it’s all gonna work out for us in the LORD!
May your day be richly blessed!

The LORD is in full control

“Iyov (Job) got up, tore his coat, shaved his head, fell down on the ground and worshipped; he said, Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return there. Adonai gave; Adonai took; blessed be the name of Adonai.”
Job 1:20-21 CJB

Here we see Job literally lost everything, yet he doesn’t blame or get mad at the LORD, but instead worships Him, praising His holy name!

“In all this Iyov (Job) neither committed sin nor put blame on God.”
Job 1:22 CJB

We all have bad days or weeks, what do we do? Do we praise the LORD or do we condemn Him? No matter what is happening around us, we need to realize God has a perfect plan!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Today, with all the ups and downs in the world we need to remember the LORD is in total control!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be fair

“You are to have a correct and fair weight, and you are to have a correct and fair measure, so that you will prolong your days in the land Adonai your God is giving you.”
Deuteronomy 25:15 CJB

We really need to be fair and balanced, not passing judgment quickly and maybe we should listen more! We need to be fair as we go out!

“Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights; with him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning.”
James 1:17 CJB

Everything that is good in our lives is from the LORD and He gives the tools to be fair and just no matter how unfair the world might be!

“Still, I will rejoice in Adonai, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”
Habakkuk 3:18 CJB

Today, have a blessed day knowing we are serving the most perfect and just creator of the universe, Jesus!
May your day be richly blessed.
Shabbat Shalom.

Compassion of the LORD

“For the mountains may leave you and the hills be removed, but My grace will never leave you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed, says Adonai, who has compassion on you.”
Isaiah 54:10 CJB

What a great reminder for today! We may lose our health, jobs and savings, but the LORD will always have compassion on us and His peace will never leave us, in other words we will never lose the LORD!

“No one will be able to withstand you as long as you live. Just as I was with Moshe, so I will be with you. I will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Joshua 1:5 CJB

Part of the compassion the LORD has for us is that no matter how bad it gets or how things may fall apart, He is always there with us!

“For the word of Adonai is true, and all His work is trustworthy.”
Psalm 33:4 CJB

Today, know that the LORD has compassion on us, He will never leave us and all His promises are true!
May your day be richly blessed with His love.
Shabbat Shalom.
