Call on the LORD

“Anyone who calls on God, and He answers him, becomes a laughingstock to his friends-they make fun of an innocent, blameless man.”
Job 12:4 CJB

Many of us deal with this all the time, it’s nothing new. Because we believe in God, we call on the LORD and He answers us through His word and people ridicule us!

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for you are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

When we hold dear to the LORD, He will always lead us and have His hand upon us!

“With God are wisdom and power; He has [good] counsel and understanding.”
Job 12:13 CJB

Today, don’t worry about the world and its attacks against us! Remember, the LORD is always with us and has us covered! Everything is gonna work out according to His plans.
May your day be blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Stick to the facts

“Can you penetrate God’s depths? Can you find out Shaddai’s (Almighty’s) limits?”
Job 11:7 CJB

The answer to both is no! But God can reveal to us what He desires us to see and know, when we simply just seek Him!

“They’re as high as heaven; what can you do? They’re deeper than Sh’ol; what can you know?”
Job 11:8 CJB

What we can know for sure is that the LORD loves us and desires us to be protected and covered under His wings! Often times we want to know every detail, but we need to understand God will reveal things in His timing, not ours.

“How precious, God, is Your grace! People take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.”
Psalm 36:7 CJB

Today, with all the craziness going on in the world around us. The smartest and wisest thing we can do is seek the LORD, be under His wings and let Him penetrate our hearts! Be careful of blurting out opinions, just wait for facts that God reveals!
Have a blessed day in Him.

The LORD is with you

“I am just worn out. By my life [ I swear], I will never abandon my complaint; I will speak out in my soul’s bitterness.”
Job 10:1 CJB

We also can feel worn out and never getting away from the awful situations we are dealing with! Does it ever end?

“I will say to God, Don’t condemn me! Tell me why You are contending with me.”
Job 10:2 CJB

Again, when we are dealing with the stuff of life, we can feel like we are condemned. The good news is that in Jesus we are saved! When we deal with things in life, the LORD is with us, getting us through and using the situations to help us grow!

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

Today, no matter how dark it may look, the LORD is right by our side, getting us through life to be with Him!
May the LORD brighten your day!

You can’t win against God

“Then Iyov (Job) responded: Indeed, I know that this is so; but how can a human win a case against God?”
Job 9:1-2 CJB

No human or any other being can win against God, but yet men still try!

“Whoever might want to argue with Him could not answer Him one in a thousand.”
Job 9:3 CJB

Job is 100% right, no one can answer one question of God. He is all knowing and perfect! So why do we argue with God?

“His heart is so wise, His strength so great-who can resist Him and succeed?”
Job 9:4 CJB

Today, let’s stand on the side of the LORD, the only way we can have real success is by walking in His ways! Be careful of arguing or trying to get our own way, it never works out!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Do life God’s way

“Does God distort judgment? Does Shaddai (Almighty) pervert justice?
Job 8:3 CJB

The answer to both questions is no! The problem we have is we can be guilty of both. We sometimes can be pretty judgmental and we can pervert the word of God to fit our own wants!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

Everything the LORD says and does is right and true, we just need to be careful of how we use it! In everything we say and do, we can ask one question to see if we are in line with God! Does it glorify the LORD?

“Proclaim (Magnify) with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s stay away from being judgmental, but instead let’s be encouraging and uplifting, sharing the good news of the LORD!
Have a blessed day standing firmly on His word!
