In the name of the LORD

“for although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in worldly way; because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 CJB

The world comes at us with physical worldly weapons, but our weapons are of the LORD! So don’t get caught up in silly thoughts and simply just obey the LORD!

“David answered the P’lishti, You’re coming at me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming at you in the name of Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have challenged.”
1 Samuel 17:45 CJB

Every day we go out into battle and the world uses every weapon in their arsenal to attack us, remember, we have the LORD!

“But Adonai-it is He who will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, so don’t be afraid or downhearted.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 CJB

Today, don’t worry about what the world throws at you, just know that the LORD equips us and goes before us!
Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has you covered!

Don’t be stingy

“Here’s the point: he who plants sparingly also harvests sparingly.”
2 Corinthians 9:6 CJB

It’s always more of a blessing to give and to be kind, don’t ever hold back from sharing the goodness of the LORD! Give generously in all things!

“But the generous person devices generous things, and his generosity will keep him standing.”
Isaiah 32:8 CJB

Being generous and kind is what the LORD desires of us! We need to help the less fortunate and support the weaker!

“Each should give according to what he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 CJB

Realize giving isn’t just money, it’s time, prayers and just simply being compassionate!
Have a blessed day looking for opportunities to give in the name of the LORD!

Share the Good News

“I tell you that they have not merely given according to their means, but of their own free will they have given beyond their means.”
2 Corinthians 8:3 CJB

When we realize how good the LORD is to us, we should always be led to give, even beyond our means! Why? Because the LORD is so good!

“They begged and pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service for God’s people.”
2 Corinthians 8:4 CJB

Is this our heart in serving the LORD to beg and plead for the privilege to share the Good News of Yeshua and looking for every opportunity to do so?

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, our hearts really need to be about the privilege we all have to share the goodness of the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Do life God’s way

“Therefore, my dear friends, since we have these promises, let us purify ourselves from everything that can defile either body or spirit, and strive to be completely holy, out of reverence for God.”
2 Corinthians 7:1 CJB

Chapter six ended with the promise that God will dwell and walk with us 2 Corinthians 6:16! The key is to obey the LORD and do what He tells us to do and walk in His ways!

“Let the wicked person abandon his way and the evil person his thoughts; let him return to Adonai, and he will have mercy on him; let him return to our God, for he will freely forgive.”
Isaiah 55:7 CJB

We all really need to abandon walking in worldly ways and cleanse ourselves with the water of His word. We need to stop doing things our own way!

Wash the evil from your heart, Yerushalayim, so that you can be saved. How long will you harbor within yourselves your evil thoughts?”
Jeremiah 4:14 CJB

The best thing we can do for ourselves is to be in the word of the LORD, washing away the things of the world! We all really need to stop trying to do things our own way!
Have a blessed day renewing your heart in the LORD.

Follow the LORD

“Adonai said to Moshe, Take the staff, assemble the community, you and Aharon your brother; and before their eyes, tell the rock to produce its water. You will bring them water out of the rock and thus enable the community and their livestock to drink.”
Numbers 20:7-8 CJB

The LORD gives us ordinances and directions on how to walk and live! We all need to be careful on how we follow His instructions, being careful on not misrepresenting them!

“But after Moshe and Aharon had assembled the community in front of the rock, he said to them, Listen here, you rebels! Are we supposed to bring you water from this rock?”
Numbers 20:10 CJB

Here we see Moshe not doing what the LORD tells him to do, but instead being as rebellious as the children of Israel were being! We see Moshe misrepresenting God!

“Then Moshe raised his hand and hit the rock twice with his staff. Water flowed out in abundance, and the community and their live stock drank.”
Numbers 20:11 CJB

It doesn’t matter if Moshe hit the rock one to a hundred times, he still was misrepresenting God, by hitting the rock instead of speaking to it like he was told! The LORD was going to bless the people no matter what! Why? Because, He said he would! We also need to be careful of not following God’s ordinances in His word! But, always remember He will always be gracious to us, His children!
Today do things the easy way by following the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!
