It must be dealt with

“Pinchas the son of El`azar, the son of Ahron the Cohen, has deflected my anger from the people of Israel by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn’t destroy them in my own zeal.”
Numbers 25:11 CJB

Here we see Pichas (Phinehas) dealing with the sin that was in the camp by being bold and removing it! We need to do the same, identify the sin and kill it!

“Then Pinchas stood up and executed judgment; so the plague was checked.”
Psalm 106:30 CJB

Are we checking the sin in our lives and then dealing with it? This is something that really needs to be done! The problem with unchecked, covered up or temporarily removed sin, is it always comes back! We need to permanently destroy sin!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba`al, follow him! The people answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We all need to step forward and be counted for the LORD, leaving sin and removing the instruments used for it!
Have a blessed being bold for Yeshua and standing up for the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

Walk in the way of the LORD

“What the Messiah has freed us for is freedom! Therefore, stand firm, and don’t let yourselves be tied up again to a yoke of slavery.”
Galatians 5:1 CJB

The LORD has freed us so we can be free from the bondage of sin! We no longer have to bound up and slaves of sin!

“Come to Me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 CJB

The LORD is telling us that His way is easy and we need to learn from Him! When we do things His way according to His word life will always go easier!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Today, we will always find freedom in the LORD and bondage in the world, so choose the LORD!
Have a blessed day walking in the ways of the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be responsible

“Now because you are sons, God has sent forth into our hearts the Spirit of His Son, the Spirit who cries out Abba! (that is, Dear Father!).”
Galatians 4:6 CJB

Yes how amazing it is we can call God Father our personal Dad! Realize, with that said, we still need to revere and respect Him, because He isn’t our equal, He is God!

“So through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son you are also aN heir.”
Galatians 4:7 CJB

We are not only sons and daughters, we are also heirs to the Kingdom! How awesome is that! Remember, the free gift we inherited through Yeshua is an awesome responsibility and privilege to have!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice in the fact we are saved and share that Good News with all we come in contact with and encourage other believers!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Look to the LORD

“Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are a seed of Avraham and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:29 CJB

What Paul is getting at here is once we accept Yeshua we are grafted in to the lineage of Avraham, we become equal heirs to the promises of God! This doesn’t mean we can do what we want and sin as we please!

“So then, are we to say, let’s keep on sinning, so that there can be more grace? Heaven forbid! How can we, who have died to sin, still live in it?”
Romans 6:1-2 CJB

We all need to be careful of falling into the trap of doing what we want! The LORD saved us by His grace and desires us to simply walk in His ways! Remember, His ways are the same today as they were yesterday and when we are looking to Him for everything it’s easy! God isn’t wishy washy, He doesn’t simply change His mind, He says what He means and means what He says in His word!

“The grass dries up, the flowers fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.”
Isaiah 40:8 CJB

Today, we need to realize everything the LORD says, He means! So let’s be in His word and do things His way!
Have a blessed day knowing that you are saved!

His Grace

I do not reject God’s gracious gift; for if the way in which one attains righteousness is through legalism, then the Messiah’s death was pointless.”
Galatians 2:21 CJB

God’s gracious gift or God’s grace, His chesed (Hebrew for loving-kindness). It is a free gift that you can’t work for or earn! But, that free gift should lead us to serve Him with everything we have, because of His great love!

“For Your grace (chesed, loving-kindness) is better than life. My lips will worship You.”
Psalm 63:3 CJB

The grace of the LORD is throughout scripture, God shows us His grace so we can return that love by loving Him back!

“If you love Me, you will keep My Commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

The LORD graciously saves us, not so we serve Him out of obligation, but that we’d serve Him out of love and devotion to Him!
Have a blessed day loving the LORD and His grace!
